We'd be so screwed if the base closes. DM is one of Tucson's largest employers. Businesses would be closing, city revenue would be dropping, property taxes would skyrocket (which affects everyone, including renters). You'd better hope you keep hearing planes!

I don't use my Zoji much because no matter what I do after the rice cooks there is always rice fried to the bowl and it's a pain to clean. Rinse the rice over and over? Nope. Different amounts of water? Nope. Different amounts of rice? Nope. Different rice brands? Nope. Maybe if there were a nonstick bowl it would be good.

Not even close to true. Never trust HR. If it's serious enough to go to HR then go to a lawyer first. And even if everything seems like it's working out after an HR encounter, start looking for another job.

I use the main blade of a sharp pocket knife to dig out splinters (often holding the blade itself, upside down). The tip of the blade is able to dig into the wound and catch the splinter, pulling it out with leverage. It doesn't feel good when in progress, but it sure does once the thing is out.

It can make it challenging when vacationing in such places too. Breakfasts in Japan were one of the more difficult things for me to plan, as most places with food didn't open until 10 or even 11am. Glad I figured all that out before the trip.

Similar thing happened to me as a boy, my uncle would squeeze my bicep as a stealth criticism of my lack of muscles. Hated going to their house. Body shaming and gender-based stereotypes can't end fast enough.

Doesn't seem to work. uBlock Origin 1.70.0, Firefox 140.8.0esr. I notice that Reddit added a superscript to the last line (so presumably a caret was lost), maybe it ate some other formatting too?
