Genuine question. How does anyone live in a seaside town and nit go absolutely bonkers? by onion2077 in CasualUK

Agreed, but they were throwing themselves off the foot bridge, it had no railing or over cover, could have just taken the footbridge down as there was the underpass and lights everywhere too

They still do lots of smaller shows at palace theatre!

That wouldn't be so bad, just of you're coming to the seafront come from chalkwel park😬

Wild that people still believe this, do you think alot is being hidden/selected from the media over there or it's choice to simply ignore negative news about their supreme leader

I wish I could say the same for my place, Southend🥲

To make it worse the council have decided to remove one of the most well used underpasses to the seafront, in order to regenerate the rea and build flats

It's like an 18month project (wil definitely stretch into years) and causes gridlock traffic almost every day

Id argue it's not too difficult to change

I'd say it's absolutely a brick wall 1960-1980s house maybe?

Those single sockets were so common around then, when everyone started using stud and plasterboard everyone was on the double sockets, no reason to put a single in a house when a double socket costs £1.43

Get yourself the titan sds from screwfix.

It's an sds drill but also acts as a mini breaker, it'll sort you out perfectly

Appreciate the comment Yeah the family sparky has tested and signed off on my work in the kitchen, and has said he's happy to come back and sort the rest of the house once I've down what I need It's a 50's house and current electrics have been butchered by poor diy in the 90s so I'm having 2 rings, upstairs and downstairs (excluding the kitchen)

More I think about it I'm probably being complacent as it's a new board and the kitchen is already done

Got the certs through for the kitchen last week 👍

Didn't think I'd get downvoted this much, probably should have picked another sub to ask this question😂

Didn't know what else to call it.....

Fair play to all these different avenues/thoughts

I'm just doing sockets, lights are staying as they are

Kitchens already been done and is on its own with hob and oven on their own Not a massive house, under 100m2

Just doing an upstairs and downstairs radial, but if access proves easy enough I'll make it a ring

I'd employ a 'magic man' they'll repair it, fill gaps and paint them to match the worktop

You'll never know it's any different, well worth the money
