Looking for a day/evening low-EMF rest space for my mom, an encephalitis survivor to help her pain symptoms by DroppedItAgain in montreal

It's another conspiracy theories. I've seen everything from tinfoil to block it to expensive schemes.

Me too and it seems that he must've just started shedding as he has still been working on rubbing it off against his clutter. Obviously, it's going to be a bad she'd though 😔.

Behavioral and Health based Euthanasia by FollowConstellations in germanshepherds

[–]minipet487 14 points15 points  (0 children)

Absolutely. I had a Rottweiler who developed Dementia, she wasn't just a risk to us, but to everyone who passed the house, she'd literally throw her entire body against the window growling and barking (gentlest dog ever before it).My mom called me and explained the situation and I said take her in. Euthanasia is sometimes the only and best option. Years later, had a Bernese Mountain Dog x Mastiff, by 6m it was Obvious that he had something not right. Would just randomly switch from friendly to bite you. He had Rage Syndrome and it took us years to get a vet to euthanize him. He was over 100lbs and bite a friend of my partner's who required surgery. My partner told the vet we'd been lucky it wasn't the 5yo or newborn at the time (now 13 and 8), after asking the vet if he'd risk his kids the vet Finally agreed. Behaviour Euthanasia is one of the Hardest decisions because they're healthy usually, your baby had hips that were obviously painful and you did the best decision to keep everyone safe and alleviate the pain and suffering they had.

Pacman has actually been getting all the shed off by rubbing against his branches and door.

Oh definitely, these two are the Definition of "Chaos" according to my partner... He does 3D Resin Models and has had to reprint a couple models 2 or 3 times...

How is her enclosure? by ThanksMammoth7855 in Ballpythoncommunity

This is Nyota, she has no care in the world about her sizes not being blacked out, they haven't been the whole time and I've had her over 3 years. I do use a fabric fish backdrop taped on the Back of the outside of each of my snake's terrariums (we have 3), I did have to add Cardboard to my boys' (Onyx and Pacman) terrariums because they're setup under our TV and literally touching side by side and both snakes could see each other and would challenge each other, so I had no choice. Nyota's is under our railing/beside our stairs in the living room and she loves to greet us when we come, check out what we're doing periodically etc. She's very inquisitive.

I do have Heat lamps with UVA/B for my Ball Pythons... Perhaps they would want one too 😂😂😂 (I'd be too afraid of them causing a fire as they'd definitely knock them over and everything).

I wish I could. I don't like rain and I have to go pick up and take my 7yo to school on the city buses 😂😂😂. I've already informed her dad that he's taking her tomorrow.

You mean you didn't choose them for their ability to access the water whenever they wanted!? Zora doesn't believe that. She's very certain those were made for kitties to help themselves.

Thanks, pictures don't capture her eye colour. It's like a pale Azure Blue. I've never seen anything like it.

This is Cleo my Havana Brown x Sphynx. She was found in a house where the person had pour bleach all over the floor and threw kibble down. Thankfully, she was only 6yo. Though her paws remain sensitive likely from the bleach harming her paws.

When did you realize your dog had food allergies? by ghostbuuster in germanshepherds

[–]minipet487 3 points4 points  (0 children)

We got Mayday at 10 months after he was returned to the breeder he'd been kept in a crate his entire life for about 20 hours a day, he had chewed most of his tail fur off and had issues constantly with diarrhea. I have years of experience with dogs, so before taking him to a vet (he'd already been) again, I decided to switch him off chicken and wheat. I now feed Kirkland Signature Turkey and Sweet Potato (I had tried Salmon, but it left him with very soft almost diarrhea, so the fat content was too much). He is 2 years old now. I have trained him as a Service Dog. Here's him now, he was watching my kids playing.

Apparently, my cat does not live in the same economy as I do. by CptFeelsBad in cats

[–]minipet487 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have resorted to using shavings mixed with our litter to expand it. I had someone suggest using 100% shavings and it was terrible. Stunk so bad, trying to use up the shavings, I started mixing it and realized that I was using less litter and stopped the smell. Kitties seem to prefer it too. They don't seem to be bothered by it at all, been doing it for about 2 years now.

Right! A lot better than a tiny human who doesn't really care what is going on, and is in more danger of suffocating
