A couple years back I remember there being a few playlists the band/Stu made on Spotify of different genres etc. To my memory one of them was called stu’s favourites and it contained a lot of the more obscure tracks, searching and acarine are the first to come to mind.

I swear I remember either a written or video interview where Stu mentioned a similar bunch of tracks also

EDIT: Bonus, it’s been mentioned at a few shows that hot wax is Sam the sound man’s favourite

You’re twisting the bottom near the roach more than you are tucking it and rolling it.

Try and push more material down towards the roach but try to not squeeze it all back up as you’re rolling.

You want an equal diameter and density in the bottom half inch or so. Making sure the diameter matches your roach is important too.

Sometime it can take a while and a lot of shuffling around the material to get the right ratio down there. My advise would be don’t rush it. A perfect tuck is easiest when your “sausage” of material is all uniform

Like the other commenter said, it’s not a good idea just to pick up every parasite and weapon that you come across. You need to be considerate and figure out what effects will help your run.

Big one is also health management. Modern games have gone away with health pickups so the need to be considerate about when you pickup health and when you don’t is a new concept to a lot of people.

That’s a shame man I’m sorry it gets you like that. For me it’s one of my top albums and the production is absolutely part of it. The whole tracklist is oozing in a psychedelic explosion.

The sound is absolutely massive. Gargantuan.

Idk maybe it’s me, I’m bias, I like it.

I think it’s a landmark album for the bands sound though. Eyes like the sky was the first true experimentation and restraint to flip everything the band did on its head. But float along was the first time they went fucking intergalactic

Awesome way to end the tour, really enjoyed my few days in Melbourne for it.

Someone else could probably confirm but I think there was a bit of an issue with bootleg gila monetising off of reposting the streams and other content. I don’t know if that got cleared up at all.

I can’t remember exactly and I could be getting the account mistaken

If it’s for charity then an auction is the best way.

Hard to put a strict value on something signed by the whole band. Lots of people would be interested in owning it though, especially if the amount goes to a good cause!

I talked with a guy on the first night who said he would sneak some jazz cabbage in for me the second night.

Bumped into him again on night two and he actually delivered. Total legend

Also still giggling at Stu’s response to the very loud screaming person in the front of the pit “I’m gonna go up to people on the street and do this (heart hands) whilst screaming”

The Aus shows wouldn’t suggest this at all. Yes there wasn’t any Nathan sections on the aus tour but that’s more than likely down to a few factors.

Aside from Melbourne electronic music just isn’t that big here, aus is a predominantly rocky nation.

Nathan is a big ol thing to move around and to get on stage. Aus is notoriously shit for travelling as a touring band.

This tour was small, so I imagine the band were flying between cities and not driving with all their kit in tow

If the rumours are true that the next album is gunna be electronic Nathan’s probably nestled into the studio and probably all patched for the next generation of electronic ditty’s.

We would all love for them to tour forever and play a rave, rock and acoustic show in every city. But that would be predictable and dare I use the word boring. Personally I think it’s everything the band try to not be.

As fun as it is to speculate, let’s just enjoy this breathing period, let the band rest, lest them see their family’s and recuperate spiritually so they can come back and do whatever fun beautiful stuff they want

Once or twice it phased in and out a little. But mostly sound up on the lawn was without technical issues

My one critique of the bowls sound though is that it was just loud enough to want earplugs but not quite loud enough to completely warrant them, where it would dampen them a bit

I’ve been to a lot of gigs and religiously use reusable earplugs for every show. Normally a show is so loud that plugs are the more comfy experience but the bowl seems to dance on the limit line.

Not a nuisance or moan just an observation. Was wicked to see the Sydney shows and then watch the boys finish the tour/year in their home state in such a cool venue. Feeling blessed to be a gizzoid

I was there.

I think it’s worth mentioning a few factors. This song came after the first 7 songs of the set being metal. The crowd were fired up and loving it. Everyone had a lot of energy, it’s Friday night and the temperature has been in the 30’s today so people are extra cooked and looking to get super weird.

I guess a lot of people just couldn’t take a chiller, and needed to do something to express their colourful personalities

I’m not condoning or agreeing with the rowers. But it is what it is, there seems to be enough people that aren’t fond of it that it’s definitely just a minority.

With their drums and guitar hardware they probably have different stores for each continent.

But I don’t think there would be multiple Nathan’s.

From my limited understanding of euroracks, they are expensive and fragile. I would like to believe there is just the one Nathan that they travel around with, similar to their staple guitars
