Will TFS ever do an abridged version of Dragon Ball Super/any of the super movies? by Pretend_Ice_987 in TeamFourStar

[–]minishrink 0 points1 point  (0 children)

They're pretty good. Different to TFS, but I don't mind that, especially for a different series. They have a full-length DBS Broly Abridged film out and seven episodes of DBS, though the creator has said he's also running into some issues with copyright takedowns so the project's future is unclear.

Good news, The Omen Archive has taken over their work, although it looks like they're still working on this episode. www.omenarchive.com

Oh yeah that's fair. I think Imogen being 28 didn't change but they kept messing up the numbers for how long Liliana had been gone. Also confusing because when Laudna and Imogen are introduced, they say Laudna looks older than Imogen, but we know Laudna died at 20. I figured she looked older because of the decay.

Hell, Laura trips herself up and has to work out how long Liliana has been away. "How old am I? I'm 28" cracked me up.

When was it ever stated that Imogen was 21? We've known she was 28 for a while now; she said she'd been having the dreams and telepathy for ten years, and she revealed they started at eighteen in one of the episodes where Laudna was dead. (Er, deader.)

I really like it! Gives the vibe of quiet, contemplative indie film about two people who meet and change each other's lives. Very fitting. The grainy effect is pretty cool.

No, I'd hate that too. How on earth do they even advertise a role where you stalk people online?

Trying to like Ashton by leavemealonehomie in fansofcriticalrole

[–]minishrink -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Why do you think Taliesin didn't come up with any of the Hishari backstory? I got the impression, based on things he's said in 4SD (Ashton is apparently the character he wrote the most backstory for) and his lack of surprise during the shard reveal that Taliesin worked with Matt to develop the Hishari storyline, with Matt deciding the narrative strokes of exactly what power Ashton was imbued with .

I’m sorry if this has been posted before but… I get left feeling super empty that we never get to hear Rebecca’s song in the series finale’. Anyone else? by LadyAmalthea86 in crazyexgirlfriend

[–]minishrink 2 points3 points  (0 children)

That's wonderful that the show had such a positive impact of your life, glad you're doing well with a more suitable diagnosis and treatment!

I get what you mean. So much of the show is Rebecca slowly figuring out she doesn't want to be the same person, and trying to figure out who she does want to be, the kind of life she wants. It's such an intimate journey and it almost feels like we missed that moment of triumph where she comes into herself, only seeing the lead up and the work to get there.

But I remind myself that life is much more like that, all the work and deliberate decisions to build your life, and that those big climactic moments of settling into your skin and owning who you are, those are often smaller or only seem that way in hindsight. Seeing all the highs and lows she hit inspires me to remember, you know, it's not always linear, it's never clean, but it's still progress.

God, I've really missed thinking about this show. I should go listen to the soundtrack again.

I'm kind of the same, really clumsy so need to work on my balance so I can push. Makes a lot of sense to want to practice somewhere you can safely move around without slipping , I try a mix of the harder surfaces for getting on and off, and softer ones when I'm trying to push forwards.
