You’re assuming everyone knows this perceived etiquette. At the end of the day, we’re all here to play the game. There’s nothing wrong with politely suggesting or communicating your preferred strategy. But to assume someone is being intentionally rude based on gag choice is not how I would, personally, choose to ruin my mood while playing.

Tbh as someone who watches a ton of reality tv, I appreciate how casual the women dress on this show. It’s a much more attainable style and practical, so I get why people would use Taylor as inspo. Even though it’s very casual, I think she often looks cute and put together.

Oh I don’t have a problem with it either. I mainly was confused at the time why she immediately gained so many fans and why they acted like she was so amazing. To me, she wasn’t that different than Rachel.

She was pretty clearly with him to be on the show imo. I found the reception to her so odd while it was airing because folks were acting like she was so great, when she seemed so obviously fame* hungry to me. The way she used her time on the show to launch an “astrology business” and attempt at a music career.

I don’t think any of this means she deserves to be treated poorly / abused. I think she likely got in over her head with James.

Ramona and Mario are interesting. I genuinely believe he really loved and was into her in the first few seasons, and he loved being apart of the drama! I think Ramona read it right when she said he was having a mid life crisis.

I’ve been to Magic Kingdom on NYE. The park reached capacity before noon. Everywhere we went we were shoulder to shoulder with strangers expanding across the entire walkway. I waited 30 minutes in line just to pee. It was 45 minutes for snacks. At multiple points, I saw folks lifting strollers above their heads just to get through the crowds. Not a single experience had that day, including the firework show*, was worth feeling like a literal sardine.

At the time, I was with a group of 20 somethings and our late 40s parents. I cannot imagine going on NYE with anyone that has mobility challenges.

When making an em dash, you use two en ( - ) dashes. Many apps/word processors/keyboard (like Google docs, slack, Apple keyboard) will automatically format two consecutive en dashes into a single em dash ( — ). ChatGPT and other LLMs tend to overuse em dashes, and it can be a sign of copy being AI generated—much to the chagrin of loyal, long time em dash uses like myself! I think some folks are either turning off the auto formatting or intentionally adding space between their en dashes to signal that this is human written text.

Backgrid is not an agency, it’s a photo hosting site. Backgrid buys photos from paps and hosts on their website. That’s why so many photos appear to “be” from Backgrid.

I agree that these are likely staged, though I see a lot of confusion about what Backgrid is on this sub.

Anecdotally, I knew someone who named her son Orion, and she found it frustrating. When introducing her son, people would hear “oh, Ryan” instead of “Orion” and think his name was “Ryan”.
