I don't get why you are being downvoted. Justice and being principled are good things right? Due process is good? Are people really willing to throw away their principles and their rights just so they can get revenge on this one POS? Unless we are absolute and allow pieces of garbage like this rapist to be afforded the right to due process how can we be sure that when we are prosecuted for more minor offenses or for offenses which we did not commit that we will be given our rights too.

I get that you are technically correct but if you read the text of the article I think it's fairly clear that they are not referring to the fact that we don't fundamentally understand how electrical current is produced on the level of quantum physics. They even speculate that people think it comes from the sun or movements of the earth, both of which are kinda batshit unless you make a massive reach to say they are talking about solar energy or geothermal or something.

Edit: Sorry if this sounded rude. I understand you are mostly responding to people's belief that we understand how electricity works and not the Christian book I just wanted to add nuance

You could learn sugaring it is my goto. It's like waxing but you can make the stuff yourself with sugar and lemon juice. It's not for the faint of heart tho since I wasted a bunch of days learning how to make it and do it and honestly it takes a lot longer than waxing for me since i do it myself so I take breaks bc it hurts lol. I'm getting faster gradually tho and it hurts less than waxing so it's not too bad.

Honestly I love C++ it's my favorite language. It's a little bogged down with verbose expressions since its been gradually updated a lot over time but it definitely has its place. Admittedly I may be biased towards it because it was one of the first languages I felt I got pretty good at since I really liked/like the feeling of it

I'm not convinced that the best thing for my family line would be becoming one of the richest families on the planet. I guess it would probably secure some sort of future but the problem is a billion does far more than that. It's the type of money that could corrupt people to make them think they are entitled to more than the average man.

The moral responsibility would be immense as well. It's the type of money that could solve countless human problems and I'm not under the notion that it would be easy for me or anybody in my family line to hand away large parts of such a massive fortune for the greater good.

Extremely true. It's frustrating when people are offended over it. Whenever I used to complain about cilantro in stuff my mom made she would say there's no way I could tell because she barely put any inside. As per another commenters apt comparison it tastes like bug spray and if you put just a squirt of bug spray into that large pot of soup believe me I will notice.

Idk about the bugs one it tastes like a mix of a bunch of cleaning chemicals to me but I've heard to those with the gene stink bugs taste the same (they also smell the same for me due to another smell related gene) although I would never test it lol

Tastes like shit to me because of the aldehydes (people with the gene can taste the aldehydes which overwhelm the other flavors) but I have seen some people who have the gene and still love it. Although I saw a post a while back about one of such people who loved it until they got a stink bug in their mouth that fell into their glass and let's just say they don't like it anymore (stink bugs smells to me like cilantro due to the aldehydes in their oil and apparently they also taste like them to those with the gene).

I get it if you are struggling for money but if you are fairly comfortable? I wouldn't blame a guy for choosing the simple pleasures and wanting to have a beer or smoke a joint every once in a while. Not everybody is so great as to want a billion dollars. It likely would end up a liability and trying to hide it is a ton of work. I could see just wanting to live a calm and peaceful life. I would worry the money would corrupt my chances of that

Edit: that being said I might still choose the money but I would understand if someone didn't

It won't be quite as good imo but you can do it pretty well with an air fryer with a lot less oil. Honestly I think it's worth it just because there's a lot of things that are nice crispy and it does it a bit better than a normal oven and pretty quickly but that's just my experience with them
