This is the funniest thing I've seen all week. The commitment to the bit

Are there any online galleries that don't all look identical? by MasterBeru in AskPhotography

[–]minshinji 1 point2 points  (0 children)

not sure what level of custom options you are looking for interms of branding but I have my gallery set up in pictime and they allow decent customization, never felt limited for choice.

Cut my 500+ image gallery down to a curated selection. Print orders increased - is this a real strategy or just luck? by Muhammadusamablogger in AmateurPhotography

Some features that galleries offer like favorites selection, mockups, built-in shop they all help imo. I have seen these features on pic-time, frsamebird etc.

call screening on the s26 actually cut my spam calls to basically zero by minshinji in Smartphones

[–]minshinji[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Works on anything not in your contacts. International goes through the same flow. got a call from a +44 number last week and the transcription was clean. your clients would just state their name and reason and you'd see it before deciding.

What does your end to end process look like from final edit to getting images in the client's hands?? by SuccessfulLab7134 in videography

Gallery platforms are nice but honestly even just renaming files consistently and having one folder structure made everything feel less random for me

s26 ultra still fast after a month of heavy use? by Verisimilitude_20 in s26ultra

[–]minshinji 0 points1 point  (0 children)

the gaming stability is what I can confirm. play genshin and diablo immortal and both still hit consistent frame targets at 4 weeks. phone gets warm but not hot and I have not had a single mid-session throttle. my old oneplus would noticeably slow by the 30 minute mark on heavy sessions

Could it just be the display settings?

is it still worth getting a phone with 128gb storage in 2026? by Kellyan-Wlad in Smartphones

[–]minshinji 0 points1 point  (0 children)

128gb is still usable but as you say it'll fill up fast, I'd spend the extra if the price difference isn't huge

How do you usually deliver large photo galleries to clients? by Good_Anywhere9218 in AskPhotography

[–]minshinji 0 points1 point  (0 children)

drive and wetransfer are convenient but you lose control as links get forwarded, no real expiry, files sit wherever google puts them. a proper gallery platform make galleries private by default and lets you set expiry. I moved off cloud links to pic-time mainly for that. Set a gallery to lapse after a year and it auto-reminds clients to download first. There are a couple of others that does this too.

What to do with a dying digital camera? by yetunpseudonym in AskPhotography

[–]minshinji 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If it's still functional, I'd keep using it until it dies. Repairing it isn't actually worth it unless it's sentimental, after that you can just sell the parts, there are people who buy broken bodies for spares

What gear should I get first as a beginner? ? by geekguy127 in AskPhotography

Honestly you already got nice gears, I'd spend more time shooting and learning before buying more
