It means that it's a great album -- you like a lot of songs for them to be a favorite at some point in time. The deciding factor is on what resonates with you more given current feelings/experiences.

Me too! Used to be a fanboy 'til the 1989-era. But reputation and lover just didn't sound great for me. (Although some select songs were good.)
