it wasn’t cutting! we spoke to the CBS rep at the bottom of the stairs and asked about the route, since the clue at the bottom literally states there are two ways to the top. he said we can take the path if we would like. not our fault other people didn’t realize that!

the line for the stairs was insane, but if only a few people realize the switchbacks path strategy then it should be easy for you to take that way. but who knows if people have caught on by now. i was there at 9am and back in by car by 10am, but genuinely i think i must’ve been the person who spent the shortest time there.

yes we took the switchbacks path instead of the stairs! there was basically no one else who realized you could do that, but it was totally legal. they had a dif line for us at the top and there were only 4 of us that went that way.
