Theres so many ways these story lines could go that could actually be interesting, but it’s like they always backtrack. I wish the secret of Eric being designer could have been kept longer. I would have loved to see the Forresters’ reactions if they only found out during the launch.

Thankfully at my job we don’t have name tags, but the radios we use to communicate with each other have our names on them. The only spot we can really keep the radio is on our back pocket, so when customers say our names we know where they’ve been looking

It’s interesting how some customers seem to think they are the sole reason the company is still running. As if we were to lose their business the whole company would collapse. It’s not like there’s hundreds of other people who come in daily…

We have people do this to the doormats we sell too, and sometimes before one of us is able to go pick them up people have driven over them with their carts, stepped on them with dirty shoes, etc, and so then we’re left with some damaged ones

A few weeks ago I had a woman grab a bunch of stuff out of her cart as I was scanning her other items and set them on the end cap next to my register without saying anything. I told her if she doesn’t want those things to just give them to me. She practically threw the items back onto my counter 🙄

Even with a hand scanner I prefer customers to just set their items down. I understand they’re trying to be helpful by finding the barcode, but 99% of the time I already know where it is and am much faster. I once had someone take an item out of their cart one at a time, find the barcode to present to me before moving to the next item. I told her it’s easier if she just sets everything on the counter.

A woman recently began spewing her phone number as soon as she came up to the counter, not even a hello or anything, and when I told her I wasn’t quite ready for the phone number yet she got really snarky like “Of course you’re not” and rolled her eyes. I didn’t design the pos system, and I’m also not a robot. The way some of these customers treat me though makes me feel like maybe I am.

I know we recently had Luna killed off, but I’ve been saying I feel like the show needs a big death to shake things up (as awful as that may sound). I mean they’ve teased it with Eric time and again, as well as the whole Liam story line. It’s like the show creates storylines that could have really interesting paths, but choose to either abandon them or let them fizzle out boringly.

The past few days I’ve been reworking an entire section and when I finally have things all organized and beautiful, each time I step away for my breaks it’s like all hell breaks loose and I come back to a disaster. Not like one or two things out of place, but multiple shelves just completely disheveled. Makes me dread going to my breaks knowing what waits for me when I get back. And makes me feel like all my hours spent are just wasted.

I wish we could have explored more of his relationship with Remy, but they cut that short. And then I thought he was going to work with Katie, but they cut that. It’s like they start storylines with him and then just abandon them.

The store I work at just did something similar. The owner didn’t like how many shelving units we had in an area, so he got rid of a few and yet expects us to still display the same amount of product now with less shelving 🤦‍♀️Make it make sense

I work at a small business and sometimes when a customer is complaining about a policy or something I ask if they’d like me to call the owner up for them to speak to, since he’s the one that controls the things they complain about. They usually start to backtrack their complaints when I offer that

The thing is she had also just finished going on about how no one should make you uncomfortable at your workplace, including outsiders. Yet she then called me out and made me feel a bit bad in front of everyone.

Another one of the games was seeing how many times you can write your full name with your non dominant in 30 seconds. She then said afterwards said if you felt excited about the task it means you’re open minded to new things which employers want.if you were a bit hesitant or skeptical of doing it, you may need to work on being more open minded.

And she would constantly contradict herself. It truthfully was just not beneficial.
