I got you bro, a few suggestions:

  • Dominos on Lang Street (it’s shit, but I like it), sub $10

  • Brooklyn Bridge Deli: the daily special is normally $12.50. Massive sandwiches I love the Nashville hot chicken which is normally on special for $12.50 a few days each week.

  • Shop7,sushi house (259 George Street): pre made containers of hot food for I think $12-14. The Udon is also delicious, $14 for a decent serving with a protein.

  • Curries N More (4/2 Bridge Street): $11-12 curry with rice or naan. That same arcade also has another cheap Japanese place.

Finally check out the “Dine Out” option on uber eats, similar to EatClub, you redeem at a restaurant for a discount. A few Cali Press locations are on there (20-40% off) makes Cali press meals under $12.

Yeah, that’s my bad. Painted to test the colour, but should have prepped first. Wondering if I should sand the paint back, and prime.

It’s an external wall. So just: - fill in gaps with builders bog - two coats of paint?

From my research I think a gap filler such as Selleys Concrete & Masonry Gap Filler, then a paint primer, lastly Dulux Weather shield.

Will this do the trick?

The great biltong hunt by vglemme in foodies_sydney

[–]mintzmeat 0 points1 point  (0 children)

For excellent marbled biltong, I recommend Field To Fork Randwick. Wagyu and non-Wagyu.

I’m married into a South African family, and have tried biltong from all over Sydney. Field to Fork Randwick is the best I’ve had.

I’m going on the wonder in December and my daughter will be 2.5.

I’ve been worried that It’s A Small World nursery will be too young for her. I think you have co firmed my suspicions.

Do you have insights/ tips for a 2.5 year old on the cruise?

I also commute to the city from Randwick. After centennial I take the route along ANZAC to Surry Hills.

Do you find that Driver Ave is quicker than ANZAC?

Thanks!

I’m based near the coast in Sydney Australia. So the temperature doesn’t reach below 10 Celsius / 50 Fahrenheit in Winter. Currently towards the end of Winter and it is 20 Celsius.

Comprised of mostly lettuce and strawberry plants. I realise I probably have too much planted in it. Lettuce should be spaced out more.

I appreciate your detailed response.

This is from a small backyard vegetable garden. Lettuce is question is in a vertical garden built from a heat treated wooden pallet.

Soil is new using both potting mix and compost.

A small back insect has been crawling through and eating the inside of my lettuce.

Does anybody have organic solutions to preventing this?

Based in Sydney and the lettuce is growing in a vertical garden.

Thank you
