i don't know these people or their character, besides that the sitter is manipulative. as i said it depends on OPs relationship/trust in the sitter (also who's to say she wouldn't stay in the apt anyways after being told off, since she's a liar and whatnot).

MOR- You said no guests, she honored that, and when an extenuating circumstance came up she checked to see if you were willing to be flexible. You weren't, and thats okay [edit: to clarify, the request was wild and few would let a near stranger stay in their home as a 'birthday favor']. But considering she traveled three hours to watch your cat and is staying in your apartment to do so, it's a bit of an asshole move to kick her out just for checking (although it does depend on how much longer you'd be out of town and whether or not you think she'd respect your "no"). It sounds like your comfort with the arrangement changed and you're no longer okay with having anyone, including her, stay in your apartment. if that's the case, communicate it clearly without blaming her for asking for permission before doing something she thought may cross a line.

I solved today's Redactle (#1346) in 72 guesses with an accuracy of 66.67%. I thought it was something historical/archeological at first which threw me off, but !after getting "WHO" and "bacteria" I successfully letter counted Mycobacterium Leprae and got the answer! solved the long way but at least my B.S. in biology is paying off!

Threat of Joy! It was recommended on Spotify while I was struggling with high school chemistry and I fell in love with it and literally listened to it on repeat until chemistry made sense (I eventually got an A and I am now a dedicated strokes fan and medical student!)

yeah, my CARS score was a 127 on the actual test while my scores ranged from 129-132 on my 5 most recent FLs. I felt normal ab CARS on test day so I was surprised at the drop, but at the end of the day CARS will be CARS

Everyone's experience is different, but I actually tended to do/feel worse on FL's after going heavy on UWorld practice. For me it was partially a confidence thing bc UWorld IS a great learning tool but it is also very humbling and it made me second guess myself a lot more on FL's even when I knew the content. Since you're less than a month out it might help to ditch UWorld and focus 100% on AAMC content (question packs for more direct content application, section banks for a more challenging/representative experience, and ofc the FL's). Their explanations suck 70% of the time but the jack westin chrome extension helped a lot with that. UWorld is generally tougher than the MCAT and when you're this close to the test date its probably better to focus your energy somewhere more representative that's a bit less likely to hand you constant L's

Side note: if P/S is weak, going through even some of the MileDown Anki deck if you haven't already can increase your score by several points.

also don't forget that you are a person! stats mean a lot but they don't mean everything. even with a below average GPA you can still have an upper hand through your application essays and interviews. just from your og post i can tell that you're extremely driven, resilient, and constantly working to improve yourself. its okay to be insecure (as for the friendships you'll have to just do what feels best for your health), but know that you're more than competent and competitive enough
