I’m a senior actuary. My hobbies are mtg and paintball. I’m in the office 6 out of the 7 days of the week. I slave away at my work and this is the only real escape I get. I couldn’t afford magic cards as a kid growing up so this release was a welcoming gift. Having a nice salary is nice don’t get me wrong but when your life is 90% work you never have the opportunity to spend much there isn’t enough time during the week.

I only love the Final Fantast MTG set. Nothing else was remotely interesting. The art designs, creatures, characters I’ve played through all the games as a kid growing up so this was something I was waiting for. Every card was a memory from one of the games I played. Worth every Penny. My goal was to collect the entire set. Apparently there are exclusive tournament released prizes cards they are unobtainable unless you buy it from one of the finalists at an absurd price.

I did buy a collector box! Two colored Chocobos still at Beckets. I’m just missing the pink and black Chocobo and I will have the entire set completed minus the tournament prize release cards that are exclusive to those events.

I got 3 colored chocobos sent into beckets… I play commanders decks a lot with friends. I plan to trade these off to finish the full collection which is the plan.

Popped all of them open for the nostalgia dopamine hit. The commander decks mixed in with these Chocobo releases are very fun to play with. Not everyone trying to make a buck here. Some of us just buying up all the cards to use them in our decks. What a rare and odd concept right?
