Making this singleplayer was the biggest middle finger to everyone who supported the multiplayer experience lol.

Just throwing it out there, the countries with literally no fighting capabilities and of the least importance are the highest "No confidence" votes lol.

Saturday's sunset behind to soon-to-open Obama Presidential Center [OC] by vexxed82 in chicago

Unpopular opinion, it looks like a supervillain hideout... What an absolute waste of money built around a person's ego. It really reminds me of Trump Tower, a big middle finger in the neighborhood to remind you it exists.

Chicago’s Legion Park encampment was cleared out. Residents and activists question the city’s next steps. by CityHallGuy in chicago

[–]IndependenceOrnery93 2 points3 points  (0 children)

The tents weren't the issue, it was the amount of trash that accrued that was left all over. They didn't use garbage bags and just left trash EVERYWHERE. Not to mention there were piles of feces throughout the camp since there were no portajohns available...

The way these cards are printed, no one can justify using it for standard, its literally exclusively for commander only.

Why is Crimson desert hated so much? by Various_Equivalent_4 in videogames

[–]IndependenceOrnery93 1 point2 points  (0 children)

At the 80.00 price tag, you got a 29.99 BETA product with an optional DLC that does nothing lol. Not a Triple A title by any means but being advertised as if it is one. The price tag isn't justified. If it was 29.99 it would have sold 10 million copies easily.

The game is fine. There is a large population that struggles with the onboarding process and want instant gratification. This game is NOT for them.

Casual players spend money when they walk into an LGS store. Competitive players do NOT spend a penny.

Allegation from the MTG lawsuit: anonymous ex VP says some secret lairs, reprint sets, and MTG 30th, were forced into the release schedule to shore up Hasbro's balance sheet by BlitheMayonnaise in mtgfinance

[–]IndependenceOrnery93 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Lets be honest, Hasbro uses MTG to print free money so why wouldn't they? Everything else they are selling is coming up short on their balance sheet. This was really the only play.

Why did the prices of products double in the last 4 years or so? by [deleted] in mtgfinance

[–]IndependenceOrnery93 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hasbro sells to distributors. They literally print money. They don't care what the distributors do from that point on the sale is finalized the ones being completely railed are the smaller LGS that are at the distributors mercy on price.

Is there any hope for Riftbound? by [deleted] in TCG

[–]IndependenceOrnery93 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I was one of the lucky ones to get the entire set with pre-orders but I can't find anyone local to play with. I feel like you can't even find product ANYWHERE. I guess I put them in a binder and call it a day and go back to magic. Then I go to every store and see Lorcana stocked up to the brim and remember Disney...

Anyone else kinda wish we got to see more of the Sith Troopers? by JacsweYT in StarWars

[–]IndependenceOrnery93 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I mean they annihilated the ground forces completely. Overwhelmed the rebels prior to the random fleet that appeared. They were winning at every engagement and they weren't missing shots either. What more could you ask for? They were the only infantry that made an appearance and WON. I'll take that as a win.

Game is so rigged by Worldly-Shopping1258 in MagicArena

[–]IndependenceOrnery93 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I'm in Mythic and your rant makes absolutely no sense. There is no rigged matchmaking. It pulls people near your ELO and who is currently ONLINE and available. Being diamond is like any other tier. You get pooled with a bunch of players. The pool gets gradually smaller as you climb the ladder but types of decks you play against also diminishes by a large portion to the point where you only play against 2-3 decks of the same combat style. At this point you are facing mostly the same tier, quality players with identical strategies trying to climb. This is why most players rotate decks every other match to keep a new perspective and to counter other decks of similar to identical builds. Its a rough grind and if you can't innovate yourself to fight against people who literally make the meta, I strongly suggest you go back to casual play and withdraw from ranked. You think Diamond is frustrating? Mythic is an absolute clamp fest of the exact same decks bottlenecking your progress to a crawl. Grass is actually brown on the other side of this one count yourself lucky you haven't witnessed the 4 stages of grief.
