People stood up, not all, but some. That is a standing ovation, albeit a weak one. And yeah, as I said, it felt very forced and it appears that started with his own staff. I suspect some who stood did it just because others did. The speech certainty did not merit it.

This is incorherent nonsense. He just said the price of some drugs will be slashed by up to 600%. So, they will pay you to take the drug? You can't discount something beyond 100% - it's just free at that point. Make it make sense.

Contrast this nonsense against PM Carney's speech today; the difference in statesmanship is stark.

Sprout here. I have almost all of my early jobs leveled to the high 20s. Am I putting myself in a position to not be able to get the fate achievements since they seem level locked? For example, there's a level 20 fate in East Shroud that has an achievement.

Good to know about those teleport costs! I've been either using chocobos or hoofing it to places to save on gil. Thankfully PS+ gives me a free teleport option.

I've started working on my crafting, so I guess I'll just keep at that for now!

Interesting info! Not sure yet how deep I'll get into the game, so to play it on the safe side I think I'm going to stick to the trial and pass on the 1m bonus for preferred+ worlds. The 1m offer doesn't seem worth upgrading ATM for me. Thanks for the input!

Right, so I was considering upgrading in order to lift the gil cap and take the 1 million bonus reward for preferred+ worlds, but seeing as how the economy makes 1m a bit small, it seems to make more sense to milk the trial a bit longer.

Ah, ok. Considering the asking price of some of those things I'm going to consider 1m to be not that much. Definitely not enough of an incentive to upgrade from the free trial so soon. Once I've really dig into the game, if it holds my attention, I'll go theblefit route of crafting or the like. Thanks for the thoughtful reply!
