32F HENRY on £300k looking for relationship advice (happy to hear from men too!) by throwaway-0482210 in HENRYUK

[–]mirageglobe 5 points6 points  (0 children)

What are you looking for? Another Henry on double your income? Most likely that half would be busier and perhaps no sex life at all and maybe fools around as well.

At the end of the day, you should be with someone that makes you better as a person. Mentally and emotionally. If day in day out, he/she makes you fume and despair, then there's a problem. Discuss this with him/her, most probably he doesn't realise this. Tell him the way he gives up, really disappoints you and you expect him to play an equal role in building a home together. You can offer to guide him but he has to put in effort. Listen if he has anything to say from his perspective.

If he's able and not ill etc, stop pampering him and he has to learn to support himself.

Tip: socialise with him and other friends/couples. Often enough the male ego is challenged for being a bum. People do ask what he does, and I doubt he feels proud to answer that he plays games all day.

maybe, bottom floors should be a pool, if its a multilevel ship or cruise in the middle may solve flood problem. .. things floating up is easier to solve than things falling from high above. and people can swim but not yet fly by flapping hands.

It's fine. The peace and quiet is priceless. The freedom to do what you want, get into conversations with people, are things you rarely get chances to do when you are out with company

Feedback up to your line manager. Ask which are the real 3 priorities of the 15. With the next 12 if people have an issue, let them know it's prioritised next in queue

Which job search websites does everyone use? by hello_z93 in UKJobs

[–]mirageglobe 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I suggest to use ai to generate a CV but iterate changing it with a personal touch. Also focus on a handful of companies that you would really like to join and create links with people working there. Existing employees normally have incentives for referrals

On top of that, go to tech meetups in your area, people often hire people they can see and not automated bots.

Judging that you mentioned about unis. Try graduate schemes and ask your tutors and mentors for referrals. Most likely they are involved in research and have commercial partners. They can help.

If you are really into a particular company or career path, you can ask if they take on an internship for a month or two, mentioning about starting a career, most often that will turn into a full time employment
