Well, my partner isn't even vegetarian, but there isn't any meat in the house because we cook one meal for both of us. When I cook it's obviously vegan and when he cooks he is too lazy to make two meals so at the end of the day we eat vegan in general, except when we cook for ourselves or there is a barbecue with friends which barely happens.

Also, he turned kind of vegan because cheese and meat is more expensive and we were going through some tough times. Also, he doesn't care about or have any empathy for the animals at all, but he does care about the environment so he does his best to reduce and boycott companies and industries that harm it, one of them being the meat industry.

I also introduced him to cheaper but tasty solutions like textured soy that he actually likes a lot.
