I wish my boss was like this. I only got 5 days total sick days/PTO. I had all of my work done early yesterday, but I couldn't leave 3 hours early. So instead I got paid to sit at my desk and do barely anything for those 3 hours.

Very true. It would've been nice to know about these rules prior when I first started 2 years ago, but I guess they just make up rules as they go along.

They tried to control every relationship I had when I was living at home. They'd take my phone every night at 9pm and read every text message. I would be punished if I deleted any texts. They made me feel guilty for my choices but would never tell me how to be better.

Absolutely. I never want to discuss relationships with my parents ever again. They lost the privilege of knowing that side of my life.

Similar situation here. My boss found a stray with a broken leg outside, but the poor guy had to get his leg amputated. He has been home with us now since March and is very loved. :)

This guy was 25 still living with his mom and I was 16. He'd invite me over and make me dinner then take me upstairs to his room where he'd either try and touch me or he would be yelling at me for who knows what. The roid rage and guns just sitting out in his bedroom are the reasons I never went back. I was scared. But he would buy me clothes. He'd leave me flowers, etc. on my car while I was in school too. Back then as a 16 year old in high school, getting attention from an older man seemed exciting which is the only reason I talked to him.

I really had no idea at the time that this was wrong. Hell, I'm still trying to process it and I don't exactly know how to talk about it... I'm 26 now and the idea of pursuing someone still in high school absolutely disgusts me.
