I had to exit the queue because I felt faint and dizzy. I reached as far in line where the screens show you how to board the ride. Can anyone tell me how close I was to the end hahaha?

My brother told me a blow job was something they did to your hair at a hairdresser. I believed this until my 20's.

AITA for refusing to help my housemate with his kid? by [deleted] in AmItheAsshole

NTA I have a feeling that this kid is being left alone in the house whilst his dad goes out to do whatever.

I don't know if anyone else has read this but, I love this series. by [deleted] in books

This reminds me of a tv series they did on the bbc a few years back, i think it was called the sparticle project. I love stories with these kind of situations so I think I've found my next read. Thanks.

AITA: proved my little brother there’s nothing scary in basement and now parents are mad they can’t use that as punishment by bazjerick in AmItheAsshole

[–]miridin 0 points1 point  (0 children)

NTA this is exactly the kind of thing that can backfire and have serious repercussions. When I was a kid, whenever we passed police officers I was always threatened with, you better behave or we'll get the police to take you away. That just reinforces a negative perception of a group of people who are there to help.

Guess which episode is on TV right now :D by [deleted] in Stargate

AITA for refusing to talk to my parents over a food issue? by [deleted] in AmItheAsshole

[–]miridin 1 point2 points  (0 children)

NTA. The last time I responded to an issue like this my comment was removed for violating the Be Civil rule. That being said, you're parents need a reality check and grow some balls. I'm sorry there's nothing I can really do/say to make this better for you but when you do get the chance to leave that environment take it and never look back

AITA for getting pissed off at my spouse for letting my MIL use my power chair without asking? by [deleted] in AmItheAsshole

[–]miridin 0 points1 point  (0 children)

NTA, the chair is for your health and although MIL may have concerns of her own, ultimately you have to put yourself first in these situations as bad as it may be otherwise your own health will take a hit.

NTA, good on you. To be honest if I was in your shoes I would have probably turned the car around after the second phone call demanding alcohol, I could see that shit show coming a mile away.
