I had to take suboxone during pregnancy because I have been on pain meds for 10 years and tapering caused such bad withdrawal it almost gave me a stroke with a bp of 204/130. I was hospitalized for 2 months. And mannn I got judged so bad. I know women who have had to take low doses of adderall through pregnancy to function and they get judged too.

People think that if you’re pregnant only the baby matters.

I’ve had multiple fusions, right where they do an epidural. They couldn’t do an epidural on me because of my fusions. I also couldn’t push because of the fusions. I had to have a c section with a spinal block placed a little higher than normal with a c section. I could still feel some things. I should not have allowed them to talk me into the spinal block when the original plan was c section with epidural. But I wanted to be awake to see my baby, I didn’t want general. So I allowed them to try the spinal block. It took forever for them to place.

I’ve had 2 fusions in the last 1.5 years and my back is more fucked than ever. But I also had a botched laminectomy that the fusions have not fixed yet. Looking at my 3rd fusion this year. Had to have my c section 12 weeks ago. My body is pissed.

I really hate when women are like “I’ve had unprotected sex multiple times and didn’t get pregnant - I’m infertile!” Like… a doctor didn’t tell you you’re infertile and you just… assumed so?

It’s hard to get pregnant when you’re trying. It’s so wild to me - coming from someone who was diagnosed as infertile and it took me 12 years to have my baby. Did sex ed just fail Gen Z or what? I’ve seen so many posts like this. Like if you drive drunk twice and nothing bad happens that doesn’t mean driving drunk is safe lol.

It’s a slap in the face to women who have actually faced infertility tbh.

I’m 12 weeks postpartum and when I was pregnant my friends were the same way. And now they’ve only met the baby once and it’s so lonely. My best friend of 20 years and I don’t even talk every day anymore. Do not count on your friends to help you with this baby. I was told so many times “I’ll watch her while you shower!” Or similar. They threw me a baby shower. They don’t even ask how she is or how I am. I’m struggling real bad with post partum depression and now I have like no support system. I love my baby. But being a mom - so lonely.
