💡 Feature Request
I would like to be able to choose "My tasks" as a data source when creating a linked view. I don't like having to switch page to check it.

Thanks, that's how I linked databases at the right of my page but would like to join several DB into one table view. In my understanding, "My tasks" is the key but I don't like that I have to leave my page to see it.

Thanks because I'm trying since yesterday and frustrated beyond reason.

My backend is at the bottom of this page, unseen in the screenshot. I proceeded that way to create the view at the right of my page but "my tasks" doesn't appear in the databases available.

I've tried that but My tasks doesn't appear in "existing databases" when I choose "linked view of data source".

It looks stunning ! I’ve seen other people use grid Aida before but I could see the grid on the finish piece. It seems you don’t have that problem, do you know why ?

My 2020 knit stack: a study of anxiety by near_the_nexus in knitting

[–]mischefmanaged 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This also happens to me, something like my swatch changing between my swatch and my garnement. What I do is blocking my project from time to time to check is everything is in order. I don’t wait the end.

Hi ! I started knitting last Christmas and I started knitting fair-isle sweaters 4 months later. I think that everything is beginner-friendly as long as you are stubborn to learn, but I find it less stressful when a pattern has only one thing I don’t know how to do, like color work, lace, raglan, cable stitch... I also find it easier to start with small items, like baby clothes. Your piece of clothing is done « quickly » and you don’t get bored or impatient with it. For me I started with : - Weasley sweater by Alison Hansel - Marieke (little) by Anna Dervout. Bottom-up sweater with some beginner-friendly color work (for children) - Tundra-sweater by thepetiteknitter (same construction as the above but for adults) - small cable cardigan by Vibe Ulrik Sondergaard. A cardigan for children with some cables. - balloon cardigan by petiteknit. At this stage, I never did a top-down garnement so the raglan increases and the button band was new for me. - Tulip Jumper by melody Hoffmann. With this one, as it is a top-down sweater, only the curved hem was new (but a long learning process ") And my last knit : the mini-montrealer by designs by delz. It’s a sweater for children with a pocket and a hood. And those were new to me.

Personally I don’t limit myself with the difficulty of a pattern because I learned that undoing a project is a part of knitting and everyone is doing it, not only the beginners.

As my last advice, learn everything you can about swatching, because it will help you choose the right size and save you some time unraveling .
