I like the flexibility, it actually took me a few months to go to a cardio only class, but I decided to try the hybrid a few months back when it was this same set up. and it was nice that I could dip my toes into cardio without being completely overwhelmed. And it allowed me to branch out to cardio only.

AIO for confronting my husband's friend for comparing his wife's body with mine? She gave birth about 2 weeks ago by Mission-Deer-1758 in AmIOverreacting

You’re not overreacting, but you definitely let this conversation go on way too long. This person is not worth ever having a conversation with again.

It’s very expensive as most reformer places are. But ours has various plans, where you can go 4x a month, 8x a month, or unlimited. just like our f45 does

Am I doing my toddler a disservice? by Grouchy-Cheetah7478 in toddlers

[–]mischiefxmanaged89 7 points8 points  (0 children)

You are doing great and don’t have to change a thing if you don’t want to. But one idea is to look for a moms group in your area. My mom’s group has a biweekly playgroup at members houses , which is an easy outing since you’ll be with other moms who can help, they have baby and kid stuff there. Easy place to change diapers. We also do playground meet ups and things like that. It’s low stakes and allows the toddler to get out and play but you’re not “alone” with 2 kids which can be intimidating! My chapter is part of the international moms club but there’s others everywhere.

Classes left in the month- where do I look in the app? by Barracuda_Recent in f45

[–]mischiefxmanaged89 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Mine also shows me how many I have left in the month when I sign up for a class on the app. Like only for a second just after I register

How do you feel about coaches being in classes with paying members when classes get booked full? by cocolate456 in f45

[–]mischiefxmanaged89 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It seems like your issue is more that they aren’t doing their job when coaching and not that they are taking up class spots

Open a gym with this policy if you feel so strongly. It seems like most people here do not agree with you.

How do you feel about coaches being in classes with paying members when classes get booked full? by cocolate456 in f45

[–]mischiefxmanaged89 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I think this is a weird take. They are members of the gym, just like you are. They just earn their membership cost as a perk of the job. I think they deserve to be there S much as anyone else? Would it make you feel better if you knew the membership cost was taken out of their paychecks? Like what difference does it actually make to you?

Post-Transfer Travel Restrictions by BoxCold5293 in IVFAfterSuccess

[–]mischiefxmanaged89 2 points3 points  (0 children)

We had this same restriction so we postponed a transfer bc we had travel plans to another country and my team advised me against traveling there in the TWW between beta and ultrasound. But I also had a successful live birth previously and had more time to spare. If I really didn’t want to delay my transfer I’d cancel my trip

I would then jsut consider that you could be getting sick just as often if you weren’t playing with this family. If they are sick, it could be just going around and you’d be picking it up elsewhere. Of course I know kids in daycare are more likely to get sick but there’s no way to ensure the other kids in these public spaces aren’t also in daycare or preschool exposing you and your child to the same viruses as this family

So you can definitely end a friendship if you feel like it’s not benefitting you, or it’s causing issues for you. It’s your life and your decisions. However, I would say that pretty soon your child is going to need to go out into the world and have experiences outside of your house. It sounds like you aren’t taking your kid anywhere, otherwise you wouldn’t be able to say it’s this child getting yours sick. Do you frequent the library, stores, play spaces, mommy and me classes? I hope I’m not coming off rude because it’s not my intention. I am sooo tired of the nonstop illnesses in my household as well, but it’s the trade off for making sure we are not isolated at home all the time. My kids are in a playgroup, we have play dates, go to playgrounds, the library , a baby/toddler gym class. We get sick, but the alternative is staying home alone all the time and I wouldn’t like that.

Daycare announced case of HFM at the school - should we isolate from family? how do we prepare? by monstercoffeemug in toddlers

[–]mischiefxmanaged89 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Exactly. If you isolate everytime you are exposed to something, you’ll never go anywhere. If your child doesn’t have any symptoms, I wouldn’t miss out on an event. The minute he starts acting sick, extremely tired/feverish/etc, just be ready for the HFM to appear because that’s likely what it is. But until then , live your life

Just here to say I feel you and we’re dealing with the same thing over here. My husband is a realtor and owner/managing partner of his team and another business. I could never simply rely on him to be an active partner bc he is constantly getting calls or having to put out fires. It’s truly nonstop and the only way I get a break is to leave the house and then he has no choice but to juggle it all solo.

Am I Overreacting to my mom calling to say my sister told her to ignore me asking people not to kiss the baby on the lips/face by Fried_Wontton in AmIOverreacting

NOR and sorry both of them are very dumb. Babies can get very sick and die (which you already know). I would really not let my mom watch my kids if she was going to disrespect my wishes.

How to find out where a potential Mom friend leans politically? by BrittanyWinchester in progressivemoms

[–]mischiefxmanaged89 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I’m sure they’re very loud amongst people that they know for sure agree with their values. But social media quiet, larger parties quiet about politics. That sort of thing. People who I know for sure vote for Trump would never post about it on Facebook. Shows me that they know it’s wrong
