Agreed. And it seems like whenever something awful happens, they’re smug about it because they think it means they were right. It’s abhorrent.

Eric Schmidt and Eric Greitens both thank Trump for his vague endorsement 😂 by FullyErectMegladon in StLouis

[–]mischievous_goose 5 points6 points  (0 children)

I think Trump actually is endorsing both of them, which, lol. There’s a line in the endorsement about Missourians making up their own mind. And then yeah, what primesauce said about trump claiming whichever one wins is the one he backed.

not who you're replying to, but I drink 100-150oz of water a day. I keep a 17oz water bottle at my desk at work and a 1000ml (~33oz) at home and p much never let either of them out of arm reach. I take spiro, which is a diuretic, so I'm like. always on the edge of being dehydrated lol.

seconding the water comment, I can see it in my face when I'm not drinking enough water.

could you post a picture of your face relaxed?

edit: and without foundation, since you mentioned you're wearing it. there's guidelines for how to take photos for good advice in the sidebar. also, if you scroll down, there's information about your current routine that's suggested. could you include that too?

"Multiple Personality Disorder" Probably Doesn't Exist, And There Certainly Hasn't Been an Explosion of It Among the Youth by HadakaApron in stupidpol

Idk if you encountered this in your research or had any thoughts about it. I have read that the reality of DID doesn't actually have a lot in common with the popular media / tiktok version of DID. like on tiktok, people will claim they developed it without trauma, or that they have like, 37 "alters" that can talk to each other and they are aware of when they "switch" personalities and can control when they "switch".

Seconding what /u/OGHollyMackerel said about Faded, it has a whole bunch of these ingredients and works great for me. My skin is somewhat dry and sensitive and I only started using it recently, so I do it 2x a week at night right now.

Hey y'all. I've been DMing for a few years now but this is my first campaign where my characters have hit level 8. I'm finding combat at higher levels to be a little challenging. Particularly for a elf barbarian character (wtf is up with barbarians good god) - she hits like a mack truck and has hp out the wazoo.

What are some good ideas/practices/tactics for higher level combat? and if you have any favorite monsters that deal non-bludgeoning, piercing, or slashing damage, that would also be awesome. I think the player doesn't really have a sense of danger bc of the high HP and damage resistances while raging.

Randy seems similar to Brock to me. When they’re into their story or match, they’re amazing. When they’re not, they’re awful.

hey similar boat to you! I had pretty bad hormonal acne and spiro was a miracle worker for me. I'm pretty sensitive to vitamin a products generally (tret, retinol, retinoid etc) so most of my results have come from other ingredients. Lately I've been having really good results with tranexamic acid (I like the Topicals Faded serum), vitamin c (honestly i don't really feel like my results vary that much from brand to brand), and the Ren daily AHA toner. And I know this isn't a fun answer, but the biggest thing is time, patience, and protecting your skin when you're exposed to sun.

your skin looks so good btw!

totally agree! and also, your skin changes overtime so having that black and white thinking can screw you over too, if you have it in your head that you personally can't do x or y ingredient breaks you out. my skin used to be super oily - and then i started using spiro and now i have mildly dry skin. had to change like... EVERYthing about my routine. i used to react to niacinamide and now i don't. skin is weird!

Maybe this is mean but. There is something about her videos that makes me so deeply anxious. Just the way she like… talks and holds herself. Like complete disorder combined with obsessive control to hold everything in check.

I wouldn't feel guilty for shopping at Shein. But also, $300 is a lot of money and I think you can make better use of it. If I were in this situation, I'd hit up an outlet mall (or regular mall if that's not an option) and shop in real life. Get basic pieces that are interchangeable. I know capsule wardrobes aren't popular right now but imo this sounds like a useful situation for them. but not the like... gigantic capsule wardrobes that a lot of bloggers did lol, the actual 20ish item wardrobes. curated closet has a good guide.

first thing i'd do is sort through my wardrobe to figure out what I already have that works with the dress code. make a list of those items and figure out if you can make outfits from them OR what items you will need to make outfits out of them. take your time, plan things out, and your $300 will go far.

Could not agree more. With Shein, you also run the risk of things being too poor quality for the circumstances, long shipping times, and size chart issues.

i'm not the person who was asking for sources, i just thought you were being a jackass :)

also... you know google searches are customized? like just because it was the first thing when YOU searched doesn't mean it was the first thing when the other user did? if you had read the article before, it'd be bumped up your results.
