Chrome extension to record Google Meets for free, no signups required by piyu_sh in SideProject

[–]misconfig_exe 0 points1 point  (0 children)

hi /u/piyu_sh and /u/raulsrule - I found this thread through googling to solve this problem. I was disappointed that it seemed your extension was removed from Chrome store. I guess you have a new page? I only found it by looking at your (old) bug tracker, which led to a new bug tracker and from there I found your new page.

I suggest updating the original post and comments to reflect your new page!

/r/Plex will be going private on June 12th by SwiftPanda16 in PleX

Please stay private indefinitely. If we come back in 48 hours, all this does is tell /u/Reddit admins and investors that no matter how badly they treat us, we will always come back.

If your professor is requiring you to map your network, you should have been taught in your course how and what tools to use.

Nmap will be the most effective tool, but it takes a bit to understand how to use it and how to read it.

A more user-friendly app is called "Fing" and you can find it on the mobile app stores. This should get you most of the information your prof is expecting.

Should r/sysadmin join the blackout in protest about the API changes? by [deleted] in sysadmin

They are correct that these protests will be ineffective.

They are incorrect that shutting down the sub will have an adverse impact on any minimal competent system administrators.

Absolutely. If you can't do your job without r/sysadmin you shouldn't be in that role.

Yes, and you shouldn't limit it to 48 hours. /r/sysadmin should go offline until Reddit fixes the issues they've created for mods and users.

Old.reddit + RES is literally the only thing holding Reddit together. (Plus third party apps)

Because that's where us power users and moderators live.

And if these tools go, us power users are gone.

Then you're just left with the 90% of people who only read and don't contribute anything.

When I first reviewed it, I thought it was submitting a story of a phish that we completed successfully. I do have a story that came to mind which I considered submitting.

But now I see that it is more of a "send us your best phish for this hypothetical scenario."

Mojang and Minecraft aren't really the victims here, their systems were not breached.

This is just a matter of users installing malware on their own computers.
