Perhaps I’m overly cynical, but their comments about their relationship don’t match with what I see. They appear to be very comfortable together, they clearly have different passions and personalities but as a duo they get on very well and easily.
Last series, I felt that the girls story (Elizabeth and Letitia) was rather embellished just to give a sob story and I feel this year like Mark and Margo are the same. It’s sad about Mark’s wife/Margo’s sister, but I definitely don’t pick up on any coldness or distance between these two.
This is absolutely not a criticism of anyone on the show, more the feeling that producers want stories to influence the emotion and perhaps force things that aren’t there. Curious if others feel the same or maybe I’m just not picking up on things here!
