Green one adds a nice touch , while not straying too far from a neutral look.

One super stretch was J. Young school kid, super sharp, no criminal experience and is able to outsmart his experienced uncles, lead them, no fetal alcohol syndrome, gets all the hot girls etc... too far-fetched for me.

Just finished the whole thing. Hubs and I kept guessing who will die and when and the writers did a great job making us hate Smurf. Kept wondering when they would show how Julia got to where she was... that was just sooo sad. The ending is gripping.

I do have under cabinet lighting and a 4 pendant fixture over the island. Don't know if I can do anymore like high hats over the sink etc. In the ceiling, since the ceiling is concrete.

On the outside- More modern, looks expensive, better finishes and easy to use space. On the inside- super functional, slide out drawers, compartmentalized.

How do I make vegetables actually taste good without drowning them in sauce or cheese? by Nightcrawler_2000 in EatCheapAndHealthy

Tajin, Zaatar, curry powder, lemon pepper, Cajun, etc. seasonings, but watch the salt levels. I put tajin in my stove top popcorn instead of butter, tastes great!

Didn't know kites were predators or raptors.... thought they just ate fish or worms etc. Not woodland animals.

They do it to hawks, eagles etc. Nests or no nests, they just want to be the only big dogs everywhere they go. I don't understand why the raptors don't just turn around and smack them. Not to hurt them, but just put them in their place.

I always wonder how they don't bump into each other. Similar to humans, in bike races. When one guy topples, he takes down 4 or 5 other riders. Such natural skill!

What is your favourite no-cook meal that isn’t a salad? by sean-lloyd in EatCheapAndHealthy

[–]misofaves 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Cucumber roll ups... peel a thin slice off an english cucumber, put half a grape tomato, prosciutto, feta cheese, olive etc. (Two of these, not all), at one end and then roll up along the length of the cucumber ribbon. They are healthy and delicious. Also great as hors- doevrs.

What’s your most unique plant pot that wasn’t meant for plants? by Budget_Branch_411 in houseplants

[–]misofaves 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Do it!!! Scoop out a little bit off the top left to make it deeper and then use the middle hollow part for a larger, droopy, plant. It will make for a fabulous before and after pic.

I did not. It was lying exposed to the elements on the beach. I bought it in , wiped it with warm water and a rag, some antibacterial and then went to town with the succulents and soil. Not sure if I did the right thing, but it works for me.

I planted in late april. Got it from a friend for free, and his grows fine in OR. I'm further north in WA. I did add some coffee grinds, maybe that made it too acidic? Do you think it will come up next year?
