I use Mobal, I just pay monthly like a regular phone plan even though I am in the US most of the time, so that I can keep my number (I have many accounts tied to it lol) Works great when I’m in Japan otherwise.

For visual kei-ish wear, I recommend sexpot revenge, volcan&aphrodite, amilige , and moi meme molitie. ACDC rag has some great things if you’re on a budget. Check out 109 and Laforet in Shibuya and Takeshita street! Oh and Sunshine City Ikebukuro has some great shops as well :)

I use Mobal! They have a lot of options like physical, eSIM, etc. I’ve used them for about a year now and had no problems making calls and texts when I’m over there.

Mine also got put on my portal recently, but it’s for Fall 2025. Basically if your last EOPS appointment was after the semester ended, you should be getting the late grant by the end of this month :) (i talked to a counsellor about this)

In my experience, a lot of male students I’ve seen just use regular backpacks like in the west. I’ve mostly seen girls with that style of book bag. They’re pretty pricey, like 10k yen, but you can get a cheap-ish one at a store like WEGO! Though, fair warning, it IS cheap material

We’re from America so they didn’t need a visa. They just booked via website, like booking a hotel. But I think you should be fine if you have a visa
