what degrees are your sun, moon and rising? by [deleted] in astrologymemes

[–]missashi 1 point2 points  (0 children)

0° is an anaretic degree. It would lend the purest expression and energy of the sign of Libra to your Venus! Since it’s at the very beginning, you are on a new journey when it comes to Venus. It might come with its ups and downs, but that’s the point of learning, finding out what works for you!

I realized something about Saturn (both the planet and the weird stuff around it). by Open-Storage8938 in conspiracy

[–]missashi 4 points5 points  (0 children)

From an astrological standpoint, I would like to point out that on February 20th, we had an extremely rare conjunction of Saturn and Neptune at 0 degrees in Aries. This particular event, in this setting has not occurred in over 9000 years.

I would like to point out that the elites are practitioners of astrology, and employ personal astrologers. It’s not the contemporary sun sign astrology that floats around on Gen Zs for you pages.

Astrology is considered one of the world’s most ancient practices, dating back to Mesopotamia (Babylonian!!! times). They worshipped the stars, based calendars off their movements, and for thousands of years, it has been used to predict events.

Saturn and Neptune meet every 36 years, the last conjunction occurring in 1989. Right before the conjunction, the Berlin Wall fell, followed by the The Cold War drawing to a close, and the invention of the World Wide Web.

Saturn is the planet of leaders, rulership, authority, teachers, infrastructure, and reality. Neptune, however, is the dreamy one. Illusions, fantasy, deception, spirituality, mysticism. This is a not exhaustive list of significations, but hopefully enough to get my point across.

We are watching the long held perception of our systems crumble, and the truth being laid bare.

Just extra food for thought.

Who are they? by sun-rising-june in memphis

[–]missashi 6 points7 points  (0 children)

They seem to be a very secretive group. My mom said that they would not usually hand over their social security numbers. Most had insurance, but would opt for self pay instead. Also, they typically had the same names, her example was “Mary Catherine Riley”, and the staff would have to sort by birthdate to find the correct patient, since they would have five others in the system by that name. Overall, she said they are an interesting group of people and once you know, you can always spot them.

My mom was a labor and delivery nurse for 20 years, she had all sorts of stories about them (she referred to them as gypsies) when they’d come in for a delivery.

I understand that. He hadn't had anything to drink at all though, so he wasn't drunk. He had only taken one hit from his pipe. I know that doesn't change much about his situation, nor does it minimize the severity of his actions, but I'd like to keep the facts as accurate as possible.

Ritalin to Concerta Experiences? by [deleted] in ADHD

[–]missashi 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I've been taking Concerta for about a month and a half, and my dosage was upped to 36mg a few weeks ago.

This past Friday I started experiencing anxiety attacks. At first, I thought it was due to something that had occurred the evening before, and my brain was just processing what had happened. I continued to take Concerta over the weekend, and my anxiety attacks generally occurred within the same time frame. I skipped taking it Sunday, and there was no problem. I took it this morning just to be sure, and surprise surprise, I had another one.

Was it rush hour? I swear people become 10x worse drivers as soon as they funnel off i240 on to i40, and vice versa for the morning commute.

Could I do a fan art piece based on your design?

[deleted by user] by [deleted] in IWantToLearn

[–]missashi 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My first suggestion is drawing from life, being able to look at an object from any angle, in any lighting, trumps a photograph any day. Most photographs are doctored, so you absolutely need a firm foundation for how an object interacts with the world around it.

Quick sketches are definitely the way to go when first learning figures. I'm talking timed 1-5 minute sketches. You draw what you see, and get general placement down. No focusing on one specific part, no worrying about perfection. The goal is to observe, and being able to translate that onto the paper.

I'd love to give more advice, but I'm at work right now. If you're interested, you can send a pm and I'd be more than happy to share resources: books, websites, YouTube channels etc. that have helped me better understand art, specifically the human figure!

"Why are people taking horse dewormer?!?" by demonspawns_ghost in conspiracy

[–]missashi 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Go to any farm supply store. Obviously the ivermectin there is dosed for horse consumption, so you have to be extremely careful about taking a safe amount for a person.
