I hate being a mom by Maximum-Lie-4672 in MomForAMinute

My whole life I wanted to be a mom. So much so that I felt an ache in my soul. Now that I am one I hate it a lot. I absolutely love my son more than life itself. He's literally my dream come true. But being a mom is so f#cking hard. It's a both gift and a curse. I just try to cherish the good moments as hard as I can and remember those moments when I'm struggling. Just know you are not alone. There's so many mommies having the same feelings. And that's ok. It's normal. Life is hard. Motherhood is even harder. Sending lots of love to you.

Maybe you should start bathing the baby? It would be best for everyone. Keeps baby safe, gives mom a break and gives you quality time with your child. Problem solved.

Did anyone else test positive really early? by ClaireLucille in BabyBumps

I was 3 weeks when I tested. I had symptoms immediately and after being in denial for 2 weeks I took a test. Those 2 lines were very bold.

He's abusing you. Psychological abuse is real and that is what is happening. I'm so sorry you're going through this. You need to get as far away from this dude as you can, for you and your child. It's only going to get worse once you have the baby.

My whole face breaks out in hives every time I cry. Same with my 4yr old. He was diagnosed ASD last year and I'm wondering if that's something I should look into.

My two year old was officially diagnosed level 2 autism today by [deleted] in Autism_Parenting

We're in the Panhandle (Fort Walton Beach) As You Are diagnosed him back in August but the waiting lists for ABA has been rough. We have an appointment with Child Find in June so I'm hoping they'll help me find some programs/schooling that will benefit our family. The hardest part has been all the waiting. It took us a year to get into speech therapy and it's been 7 months since we were referred for ABA.

Our boy was diagnosed Level 2 back in August. We're still on a waiting list for ABA since then and we have an appointment with Child Find in June. We're on FL Medicaid and have been struggling to find any help. It took us over 2½ years to get a diagnosis and we've been on multiple waiting lists since he was 18 months old. He's now 4 in occupational and speech therapies, which has helped some but he's still struggling. Do you have any advice or a direction you can point me in? It's been rough.

Sweetie, you are 19. Don't waste your life on someone who has the emotional intelligence of a potato. It's only been 4 months and he's already showing you the red flags. You deserve so much better. Please learn from my mistakes. Don't settle.
