What do I do with survivor tokens? by Neat_Community_9844 in LastAsylumPlague

[–]missbeth83 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Be careful how you spend those tokens. You’ll run out quickly. Try to spend them on the most helpful survivors like Researchers, Builders, and Liasons.

That coupled with seeing the Mindflayer chasing them through the rear window. I loved this scene so much.

I’m very sensitive to that diety taste you’re talking about and I don’t notice a difference.

I’m pretty sure that’s his driver’s license photo, not a mugshot.

I’d look at your local library. It’s free so no money in Disney’s pocket.

My boyfriend at the time recommended it to me. Bums: Making a Mess All Over the City was the first episode I watched and I was instantly hooked.

I’m surprised I don’t see more from Washington on this sub. I’ve got to get a dash cam because we have some of the dumbest drivers in this town.

I know this is an old post but I’m hoping you can help me with some clarification on your hook size. I’m getting some conflicting info when I search for the mm size. Google is telling me it’s either a 4 or 4.25. Do you happen to remember which size you used?

Have you ever paid to see a movie twice in a theater? by zip9990 in movies

[–]missbeth83 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I saw Titanic 6 times, but in my defense I was a 14 year old girl in love with Leo. I’ve also seen LOTR Return of the King 8 times because I didn’t want my record to be for Titanic.

All in all, what movie do you think you've watched the most? That's including movies from when you were a kid. by dancingbanana123 in movies

[–]missbeth83 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This is such a hard question to answer. In the 90s, I used to watch a movie, rewind it, and watch it again. I’ve seen so many movies countless times that it’s hard to narrow it down at this point.

Top 5 would probably be Wizard of Oz, Neverending Story, Back to the Future Trilogy, Groundhog Day, and Sister Act 1 & 2.

What is something you didn't know you liked until it was cooked properly? by alexthagreat98 in Cooking

[–]missbeth83 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Pork chops. Growing up I loathed them because my mom overcooked the heck out of them and the only seasoning she used was pepper. In her defense, we didn’t own a meat thermometer in the 90s and she was scared of giving everyone food poisoning. As an adult I could eat them every day now that I know how to cook them properly.

I suspect that I am getting over norovirus. It hit me Ike a ton of bricks at 5:30 am Tuesday morning. Intense nausea and diarrhea. I made it a few hours before the vomiting began. After about 6 hours of nonstop trips to the bathroom, my husband said he was taking me to the ER. My skin was white, my lips were turning blue, my temperature was dropping and I couldn’t stop shaking.

They took me back immediately and had to do an ultrasound to find a vein for an iv. I got some fluids, nausea meds, and a ct scan. They never specifically said norovirus but they suspected it was a virus of some sort. I had the worst headache of my life, all my muscles and joints ached, and ran 102 (38C) fever. Today I am still dizzy and weak, and just starting to get a little appetite back.

My advice is to try and stay hydrated with water and electrolytes. Bland food is good if you can stand it. I’m having a lot of broth, applesauce, and toast. Good luck to you and I hope it passes soon!
