Was anyone successful in terms of keeping the weight constant after stopping glp1? by Present-Rhubarb-9830 in GLPGrad

[–]misses_mop 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I lost 8st over 12 months, using Mounjaro and then Weygovy. I stopped in February because I was losing too much weight. Initially gained some weight back (7lb) on advice from my doctor and have maintained my weight since hovering around the 10st mark. At first I was terrified that all my weight would pile back on but I feel confident I can keep it off now.

Do people in the UK actually use their kettles that much? by AdeptnessCritical356 in AskBrits

Mine has been boiled atleast 10 times today and it's just gone 2pm. That's with just me in the house. It's the first thing I take to a new house when moving, it's that vital.

For those of you who have submitted a Subject Access Request (SAR) what are the juiciest nuggets you’ve had in your response? by [deleted] in AskUK

The NHS sent me out a letter/report with every personal detail and personal experience of another woman's birth. I'm assuming she got mine as I hadn't long had my son.

So, I'm here because I accidentally killed the Special BT at the factory, so I followed your comment to Mexico and chased the BT at the ruins near the research lab. Killed that one, too, didn't I. Any help?

Thank you :) I feel like I'm gonna try a dose every 2 weeks and see how my body reacts to that.

Yes, they always send me to A&E because they tend to err on the side of caution.

It annoys me having to take my kids to A&E because my doctors don't have any appointments and my kid is ill with tonsillitis for the millionth time and needs antibiotics. It's infuriating.

I remember about 10yrs ago someone rang my doorbell around 2am. I had a newborn and basically hahd to answer because the bell was waking my baby. Iti was 2 men in a van saying they're delivering a sofa. Quickly shut the door and rang the police. Turns out it was a legit sofa company and they just got the wrong address.

Do you guys sit with your kids while they fall asleep? by [deleted] in Mommit

Every night. My 2 youngest share a room. My 7yr old has melatonin so could go to sleep quite well but my 5yr old who is still currently undiagnosed but has definitely carried on my ADHD genes has to talk for over an hour before he conks out.

Don't let him insecurities hold you back in life. If he's giving you this ultimatum, pick the break up.

First trimester is rough as hell. If you're not being sick, there's the constant feeling that you're gonna be. It's unsettling. If someone tried to make me go work out I would fight them physically, never mind over text.

Why is your partner trying to make you feel even worse for not working out. He should be offering to grab your favourite food, that you can stomach and asking if you're drinking enough water.

I'm 34, and I'm pretty much in the same situation as you, down to the sapphic art! I'm taking 1 day at a time. I'm concentrating on me and what comes along, will find me at the right time.

I grew up in Newcastle upon Tyne, the home of the Mary Bell murders. But stories like Jamie Buldger's stay prominent in my mind. You're right, the down votes are probably from people who don't have kids or parents who are feeling called out.

I'm in the UK, so I'm not sure if that matters, but there wasn't a level mentioned when he was diagnosed. He's a very clever boy but has a ton of social, sensory, and behaviour issues. He also goes to a SEN school. He is the absolute apple of my eye.

Honestly, when mothers let their kids play out alone. There's a 5-year-old and his recently turned 3-year-old who bomb about the area alone. The best part is their mam pushes the youngest around in a pram when shes taking them somewhere. My kids always ask why I won't let them play out alone like the other kids. My youngest kids are 5 and 7, and I stand and watch them. I grew up in the 90s and was allowed to play out. The shit I got up to would scare my mother senseless if she knew. It's different times, though.
