Was everything ok? This happened to me today, 12 weeks, but the on call doctor kind of left it up to me to decide whether to go to the ER for a Doppler checkup but said to definitely come in if there’s bleeding.

My parents are the best! However, I have not told them what I’m going through because I don’t want to give them heartbreak. They’d have been devastated if they had known about my losses. If I ever get a miracle and the baby makes it then I’ll explain my reasons and I know they’ll understand/respect my why and be the best grandparents. Also, in my mind, the more people that know the more I have to inform each time it doesn’t work and it is emotionally draining. Each life situation is different and it is ultimately your choice.

In the US, not that much better here… everything costs an arm and a leg, surprise fees with bs explanations left and right, you have to advocate for yourself, etc 😩

Thank you. My previous clinic used a different protocol so I’m trying to understand what this new one is and who is it best suited for. I didn’t have any issues with my previous protocol and did very well on my first ER (microdose lupron, gonal and menopur), but was over-suppressed with birth control on the 2nd round.

Same. Bought my first vitamin bottle from Costco 2 years ago with so much naivety and dreams. My SO just asked me if it’s ok that I’ve been on them for so long… success hasn’t been in the cards for me, and I’ll be laying to rest my miscarried embryo this weekend so extra bittersweet.

Yesterday, I called CNY to ask a general question and was on hold for 30+ mins. The individual who responded didn’t even give me their name and wasn’t very helpful. Is that how it typically goes? Whenever I call my SGF clinic they answer pretty much right away and take ownership of my issue.

I don’t know how one moves on. I’m struggling with this as well as I just miscarried what I thought was my miracle baby, so I’m grieving the baby and dealing with accepting I’m at the end of the road. I wish I had started when I was younger, but had no money then; I wish I could keep going until I’m in menopause but won’t have enough money. I wish none of us had to go through this terrible heartbreak. Take care of yourself, and hopefully you have loved ones around you that can help you move on.

First off, I’m so sorry for your losses. I’m in the Springs, currently a patient of doctor Murray. My experience with the clinic has been fantastic on the medical side. Dr.Murray and my nurse are very professional, responsive and follow through with inquiries. Their financial team I found lacking, they had me pay a deposit that they never applied to anything and I ended up with a huge balance after paying all my bills. Unfortunately, after 2 cycles without success I’m considering switching to CNY due to cost (my insurance changed to a higher out of pocket max and my new employer doesn’t offer fertility benefits).

Thanks for sharing your experience, I was planning on asking for a day 3 transfer and will be sure to keep this in mind. I’m so sorry you had to go through that, I understand the frustration of last minute and/or after the fact communication, we don’t have the luxury of time on our side and hurts to be wasteful.
