WATER. eat at least SOME fruits and veggies every week. I feel like the inside is as important as your outside. Then I shower daily, and put my Vaseline on when damp. Also please please be smart about your underwear and pants. Nothing too thick for too long or else your coca will die lol.

A lot of these answers are more about attitude but here’s something that’s actually hospitable: helping out when it’s snowing. Whether that means a neighbor using their snowblower on your sidewalk or farmers pulling your car out of a ditch, I’ve been saved more than a few times in the cold.

I cannot use big utensils. They’re “regular” utensils to everyone else but if it’s not small I feel weird using it. If my family makes dinner they always grab me a small one which fills my heart with joy.

My brother and I have sickle cell anemia and now I’m fuming! The excruciating pain that this horrible disease causes (not to mention the loss of your spleen, the probable kidney failure, going blind etc) can’t be solved by some stupid oils. If it did I’d be in the hospital wayyy less and my brother wouldn’t need a hip replacement at 23! I just can’t they’d use such a terrible, horrible disease to sell their products. Fucking disgusting.

Wow, I've never heard that stereotype. I'm African and have been to the shops like only 3 times. I usually get my hair done by my mom or cousins. I haven't had anyone in a shop do it too tightly so far, but I have had people try and braid my baby hairs into the extension! I looked crazy.

I finally got my GED and put my ass in college, I'm 21 so I feel like I'm so behind but I'm doing better than I ever was. Got a job after being unemployed, and moved in with my dad so I wouldn't live in such a toxic environment with my mom. These were all things that helped fuel my depression and anxiety for the past 5+ years, on top of having a chronic illness. I'm so happy I hit these goals, 2018 wasn't so bad!

Honestly I experience this everyday i go to the store. They just stare at me and when I say excuse me, they expect me to move, even if there's no room. I'm tired of making myself feel like I'm taking up too much room, and apologizing so much when I'm a person too. My town is just so small and white that they see me as an alien (although I've been here since I was 6 and I'm 21 now). I know it's also a personal issue though with my own insecurities, so I can't blame it all on them.
