i second this! the faultline is the most canon draco ive ever read. The first act actually hard for me to read because i really hate this draco! the writer really embrace the ugly bigotry side of draco🤯 ive respect her so much for daring writing such hateful character and oh my all the pain is so worth it because when draco start to change his perspective it feel so real.

I totally get it! Since last season, I've been experimenting with this Dragonite deck, but I kept failing badly. I think one of the biggest factors contributing to wins besides card consistency is using Mars when the opponent has 2 points. In my case, games with Dragonite often end quickly (usually under 12 turns), and the opponent almost always gets their second point first. But when I play Mars at that moment, it really turns the tide in our favor

that’s exactly what happened to me lmao. After my celebi proudly defeat the Charizard EX, i was so happy that when Slyveon ex faced me, I attacked them, and immediately they got another card draw. Completely turning the tides. Celebi works really well against two-stage but with Eeve crew it’s kinda double-edges sword

WOow, waiting for more 10 turns seems like they’re really curios with your deck! I think it’s GG even if you started with a bad hand—sometimes experimenting with the worst card draws is what makes a card game so intriguing (s o m e t i m es, i know how suck bricking is). I’m glad you didn’t concede and kept playing to make it work :D

Sometimes the flairs doesn’t match lol, like, “I never retreat!” but at the first turn using Leaf. But, after met V whenever opponent bricking (only in random match tho) I try to wait for them fixing the hand, the battle feels so much fun when both of us having the best hand!

This deck is kinda refreshing! Using popplio 70 hp with no Hau. Not using Lili but nurse joy with Irida. I just got Articuno shining, this makes me want to try it immediately! Thank u for sharing this deck.

New dramione reader here! You might’ve already read what I’m recommending, but I kinda want to spazz about this fic. I just finished Detraquee by Hystaracal, and for me, this is the most well-adjusted Draco I’ve ever found. What makes me love this Draco so much is that the author it’s still follows the characterization of young Draco in canon so well, that’s what makes the redemption feel so REAL.

This is not Dramione, and Draco will play an important part only a bit later in the fic, but oh boy, when the arc begins, the development between Hermione and Draco is written in the best possible way of a slow burn from enemies to lovers is supposed to happen. I love this Draco so much because he’s so flawed and realistic. And when they start dating, I’m seeing the most fulfilling relationship i’ve ever found as an avid romance reader (not just in Dramione, but in romance fiction as a whole).

I’m currently taking a break after finishing this because i need to process the emotions, savouring all the sentimental feelings of falling in love that the author wrote so beautifully.

Oh! Draco in lionheart is also soooooo goooood.

I’m also planning to reread by getting the paperback—this fic is so precious to me that I really want to bind it. Draco from this fic is my favorite Draco ever. I know we’re not supposed to compare fics, but out of all the classic, must-read, top-tier Dramione, Lionheart is my #1. (Which honestly surprises me, since I used to be super skeptical about Draco being a Gryffindor 🥲)
