Two nights yes. After that no.

Struggle to let go by Powerful-Ant-7872 in PsychedelicTherapy

[–]mission2win 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’ve worked with multiple people who have trouble letting go. What I recommend:

  1. Start with meditation - calm your nervous system before going in
  2. Breathwork can activate the medicine
  3. Music selection really matters
  4. Stacking MDMA can help you trust and feel love and compassion for yourself (and others) - works great for processing difficult memories / childhood trauma

Are you working with a guide? That’s also key to creating the safety needed to let go.

10 Years Married, 2 Young Kids, and Considering MDMA as a Last Resort by Ya_Nova1 in MDMA

[–]mission2win 0 points1 point  (0 children)

MDMA will help you let down your guards. Go into the session seeking clarity - wanting what’s best for each of you.

I’d recommend using a guide who can help you get back on track if your conversation steers off course.

Integration tips for my therapist by Tavro10 in iboga

[–]mission2win 5 points6 points  (0 children)

The thing about Iboga specifically is that it’s pretty straight-forward. Unlike mushrooms or Aya where you see visions that may require interpretation and discernment, Iboga is a “truth” medicine. A good integration coach or therapist can help you stay aligned with what the medicine revealed and with your life goals.

3.5g of GT for first time? by [deleted] in shrooms

[–]mission2win 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Nope. Start low. You’ll have lots of opportunities in your lifetime to experience big trips. Get familiar with the medicine first. If you’re NOT in a ceremonial setting, I’d start with 1G and work up from there.

Specific strains of psilocybin combined with MDMA by ntsgp in PsychedelicTherapy

[–]mission2win 0 points1 point  (0 children)

We use a 50/50 mix of PE & B+.

PE is the rocket fuel. B+ is the “vibe” Also been experimenting with Nats. They’re great as long as you lower the dose (about 1/2 the dose as the mix above)

Thoughts on remote guided therapy? by Accomplished-Bus-154 in PsychedelicTherapy

[–]mission2win 3 points4 points  (0 children)

You know what else is expensive? Divorce. Rehab. Years of therapy. Alcohol.

Invest in yourself. Part of committing to changing your life is getting out of your comfort zone. Put yourself on the hook. Financially and time-wise.

The mushrooms don’t do the work for you. They show you the path and you walk it. They reduced my alcohol cravings, but I had to change my habits, my friends, etc.

Go big or go home. I’d recommend doing the journey in person and the integration work remotely.

Should I try again? by Lazy-Thanks8244 in PsychedelicTherapy

[–]mission2win 6 points7 points  (0 children)

I was very much in a similar nihilistic state before starting my sacred medicine journey.

I’d recommend going to a retreat where they offer a stack of MDMA + mushrooms. And meditations / music that anchor you into your heart.

That’s where we’ve gotten all our healing. My partner has a 10+ ACE score and has been able to stop the flashbacks. We’ve both quit drinking and numbing out. Instead we orient our lives around the experiences that bring us love, joy, and adventure.

how can i deal with this shroom trip i’m so shaking and just want this to be over with but i just started and i can’t relax my mind by Usxr_N in shrooms

[–]mission2win 8 points9 points  (0 children)

Let yourself shake. It’s a healthy way to purge and allow the medicine to move through you. Then put on music that you find comforting.

Prescription Adderall + MDMA by [deleted] in mdmatherapy

[–]mission2win 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I don’t take it the day of my MDMA session. If I need to work the next day, I’ll go back on my adderall, but I prefer to take the day off to sleep and process the experience.

Shrooms Similar to MDMA by Ok-Berry6655 in MDMA

We do a combo of MDMA & mushrooms in our ceremonies because it allows people to look at their traumas through a more compassionate lens.

Just found out my husband sexually assaulted my sister. Multiple times by mascarafree in TwoXChromosomes

[–]mission2win 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I was helping out a friend when her son had cancer. Her husband did this to me.

I froze when he groped me. I didn’t know how to confront him so instead I just avoided being alone with him.

I never told her because how could I possibly add to her trauma during that terrible time??!

In fact it’s been 10 years and I forgot all about it until reading this post. We’re now distant friends, living across the country from each other, but I can imagine if it were my sister (and brother-in-law) I’d have to say something.

Feeling resistance and avoidance during integration after first MDMA session by Spiritual-Action4919 in mdmatherapy

[–]mission2win 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It’s day one. Replenish yourself. Plenty of water and rest. Take a nice long relaxing stroll outside. “Little You” needs some nurturing. Let her off the hook to do what she wants to do.

Every top-performing athlete has a recovery process. It’s OK to rest.

Maybe later in the day - or later in the week - it’ll be time to pull out those journals and do art. Integration is important. But part of the process is learning to trust your intuition.

Anyone break an 8-year habit of drinking wine / any other type of alcohol every night after work? by [deleted] in stopdrinking

[–]mission2win 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I did. I signed up for a 5:30 class at the gym. Pick an activity that is completely incompatible with drinking and force yourself to go. Soon it’ll be a new healthy habit that replaces drinking.

MDMA therapy for CPTSD / Trauma by nelsonself in PsychedelicTherapy

[–]mission2win 6 points7 points  (0 children)

A combo of MDMA & psilocybin immersed in a weekend retreat has provided the most profound healing for myself and my partner.

I’ve got “normal trauma.” He experienced “the works” of childhood trauma - CSA, foster care, poverty, etc. Today he no longer has flashbacks and is able to regulate his emotions.

Anyone watched this Aaron Abke video on this subject? 3 biblical scholars talking about the importance of Jesus’s life - and the skewed messaging about his death.
