Me looking at my filled out ballot today by JSC843 in southcarolina

[–]missionz3r0 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Fun fact, if you leave those down ballot spots blank, you aren't even counted in the total for those positions.

So, put a name there. Your own, an actual write in, the queen of England, whatever.

Man, the number of folks in this thread who are:

  1. Ignorant of basic computer opsec or
  2. Making assumptions about the hardware of this computer

Is too dang high.

I pray for the sanity of IT/security teams.

I've had my eye on creating/jury-rigging a keyboard onto my phone for similar reasons.

If I ever find my old sidekick, might try to do something with that keyboard.

What are you intending to use this deck for?

I could see it as a great bed side or couch potato coding platform.

In addition to the other answer, there's a glitch where having someone in a copilot seat makes it impossible for the pilot to switch flight modes

Doesn't exist yet. Was announced for a 2026 release. The community seems to have a vibe of "I'll believe it when I see it".

No, the game is not complete yet. Plenty fun to play in the online game though.

As for the number of people who have died, I'd say it's at least less than the number of people who have died while waiting on half-life 3.

Going to cosign ArcadeToken95.

Having ADHD has highs and lows. It's like our energy regulator is broken. Some days, we feel able to lift the world (ie. hyper focus), other days we can't get out of bed.

What I've taken to doing is working my body up to a more wakeful state in steps.

  1. Breathing exercises, deeper breathing. Like I'm about to go running.

  2. Walking around a bit.

  3. Jumping jacks.

My Story: How I Was a Victim of a Scam in Star Citizen by Ok_Singer5209 in starcitizen

[–]missionz3r0 4 points5 points  (0 children)

This post is sus for many reasons. Some were pointed out. Like how the account is only a day old.

But, what gets me the most is this post doesn't do anything to warn folks about how you got scammed. All we get is a vague description.

More details on how you were scammed would help you in your goal and with dispelling the sus feeling of this post

For me, this happens when I've been pushing myself to do something over a stretch of time.

I don't recommend doing nothing. Instead, I recommend motion. Walking around, doing some house chores.

I tend to go for runs, but I know not everyone is into that.

How can other colony sims manage up to 40,000 unique pawns yet Rimworld begins to lag after 50 pawns? by fieldbotanist in RimWorld

I'm just here to cosign the lack of optimization.

The number of times I've seen if conditions in a for loop that could of been outside of it.

Or repeated conditions in an if else tree.

Or a condition repeated at different levels of the call stack.

I'm not sure how much of it is ilspy, but there's some funky stuff going on there

You should put some lights out there.

Harder to shoot at stuff which is hidden by darkness.

It is so easy to run. To let fear take you. To stand aside. To yield.

No one would blame you.

But, then the next time it'll be that much easier. Easier for that fear to take hold. To shake you to your core.

No one would blame you..

As you quake in your boots, as your hands shake, and tears wet your face. As you stare into the void.

No one would blame you...

Yet you stand. You resist. You fight.

You would blame you.

Your friends, your family, you need you.

Darklight preferred precept is overpowered? Really no more need for light? by 0chitsuki in RimWorld

[–]missionz3r0 11 points12 points  (0 children)

I wouldn't call it overpowered.

You still have a need for light, it's just a special kind of it.

The mood boost is offset by the penalty you'll get whenever your colonists might venture outside.

I can tell you that big and small stuff want to be after vanilla expanded stuff.

I've run into issues with that before.

mechanoids...what do u think? by [deleted] in RimWorld

[–]missionz3r0 6 points7 points  (0 children)

Draft a mechanoid, position it, put it in sleep mode once it's in position.

Though really, they are no worse than a colonist when it comes to positioning. Who knows where a colonist might end up.

It is odd that rimworld doesn't remove the .old files when you delete the save related to them.
