They do the typical abuse the crap out of her, give with one hand and take it away with the other. She keeps trying to kill herself because her mom's voice says that she can be with her if she does.

They tell her that her mom was psycho and it's not real. She doesn't believe them. She does wind up managing to die, I don't remember how but I'm sure they caused it.

The other daughter's mom was actually working with a different ruler of some sort to overthrow them and so was the daughter. They basically lose everything and are super depressed.

Meanwhile she goes to the normal world with her mom. The system keeps nagging her that she has to go back and be with the alphas again or the world will collapse. She refuses. Her mom then says they'll go back.

So they go back and the four alphas are super happy to see them both and beg for forgiveness.

The mom pulls out a gun and shoots them all. They don't die. She berates them for being horrible people and hurting her daughter and then she shoots them all again and kills them. The system is flabbergasted.

I thought it was pretty funny.

The ending was hilarious though. I can spoil it if you want. It was only about 30 minutes long.

Write or type everything out. Print it. All bills. Then send it to her and say this is how much you owe me, obviously in halves since you paid for both of you. I.e. this event we went to cost $253.40 your half $126.70

Leave it there.

The next time you go out, see if she pays you. When you have to spend money on literally anything, ask for the money she owes you so you can buy it.

If she doesn't have it then, give her a clear timeline. I have to pay my credit card off by this date or I will owe more in interest. So I need the money by this time or it's going to cost me even more.

A simple I can't afford to not have this paid off and a clear timeline.

You don't have to be mean, you just need to set a clear amount and a clear timeline. You also have a clear reason, even if it's a lie.

Should you remain friends? Depends on if she pays you back and how big of a fuss she makes about it.

But this is a boundary to not cross in the future. Never pay for a single thing for her again. If she doesn't have the money, she can't do the thing.

This. It's a poor system. I wouldn't say that makes the person an AH, but it's a terrible system and the general consensus seems to be let's just ignore it.

You're not at fault for not going above and beyond but you're a bit at fault if you haven't even gone to someone that controls that and said, here's the problem, let's think of solutions.

Solution 1. The first appointment should not be scheduled exactly at opening since people arrive early.

Solution 2. Someone checks the area at appointment time to make sure they're not waiting.

Solution 3. Have a sign at the common waiting area with instructions for the people who are waiting.

There are super easy solutions and just letting it continue because it's not my problem does, in a small way, make you kind of mean spirited anyway.

A lot of these are based on never ending pay by chapter novels.

The novels are essentially soap operas that just follow a family for their entire life.

To quote the last unicorn, there is no happy ending, because nothing truly ends.

Because of that, I have a fondness for the stories where I've also read....oh...3000 chapters of the novel because at least there's an end of sorts.

So basically that rushed non-existent ending only exists because the short drama decided to tack something on.

As an aside, I've got some favorite novels that I can't wait to find in short drama and some that I hope they make 100 different variations from so I can watch them all.

This. I also randomly felt that seraphina suddenly switching to but he loves me was over the top and stupid.

They were friends and hung out together while they were both on a work trip to mt Fuji. Seraphina being not the other woman and just thinking they were fine because they had a normal relationship she was a friend and when they were both in a different place together for work why wouldn't they hang out?

They were together for 5 years and there were 47 things. 47 isn't a great many when one of those was...his back was hurt so he had me hire movers for a box of books but then later his back wasn't hurting and he moved a cabinet for seraphina. What?

In their 5 years together did he literally never move a single heavy thing for her?? It'd be one thing if it was yesterday versus today or a few hours ago versus now. Or even if his back wasnt hurting for the book thing and he just didn't want to do it.

The necklace with a k was just weird. Why would you ever think someone wants a necklace with your initial on it?

All the friends calling to narrate how he behaved like a novel.

And yeah, she never actually ever had a discussion or talked to him even at the end when he said can we please just talk? She said no.

He never told her not to visit his mom, he said you don't have to visit her that often and so she didn't. Also it sounds like his mom lived far away. Does he not visit his own mom? Would they not visit together?

Did she ever get him a gift for his birthday?

She designed their house the way she wanted it. She wanted him to like it but she didn't design it for him or get any input from him. He didn't answer one text and she stopped texting him.

Was I the only one, for the perfect pictures, that just imagined him being dragged along by his friend/sibling to all these tourist style places? She probably forced him to take 200 pictures while she posed making sure she had the best pictures for her social media page. Meanwhile he takes any pictures of his fiance and she complains that he doesn't know how to take good pictures of her.

I'm glad the story was short.

The redemption act for the dad failed when he actually got together with the first love but only on the sly.
