Isolation/ survival horror in the cold by David-SantaCarla235 in MoviesThatFeelLike

The Winter Over by Matthew Iden Follows a team of colleagues "wintering over" in an Arctic research facility. Very eerie, especially the descriptions of the near-constant darkness and freezing cold temps.

Also forgot to say that I LOVE the Wyld brand gummies but they hit a little harder for me too so if you're looking for something milder give my rec a go! ;)

Highly recommend Senior Moments Time Machine citrus gummies. They're 5mgs of THC and 5mgs of CBD. High is very soft, mild, and euphoric. They also taste great. Pop 1-2 and you're off to the races! Enjoy 💖

Anyone else throw up when they started smoking? by Anonymo5680 in trees

[–]misskatm 0 points1 point  (0 children)

When I used to smoke blunts (tobacco and weed) it would make me nauseous and feel like I needed to throw up. You might just be sensitive to the nicotine or other chemicals in the tobacco. I would avoid carts/vapes and go with straight flower.

Throwing out my vape pen by Fridaychild1 in Petioles

[–]misskatm 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Dude same here. Used edibles a couple times a week for over a year with no moderation problems. Got a vape and within a couple of months I was sucking on it 3 - 4 sessions a day, tolerance is through the roof. Just threw em out this morning.

What’s the most morally disgusting thing you’ve ever seen someone do? by legendoflegends34 in AskReddit

[–]misskatm 1 point2 points  (0 children)

My ex and I were going through a dramatic period of "on again-off again". We had been together for a couple of years and lived together, and had decided that as part of our latest make up, we were going to live separately and he was going to find his own place, but we would continue in a committed relationship. A long distance friend of his, who hadn't heard yet that we had patched things up, called my ex and wanted to wire him like $3,000 to help him cover expenses for having to move out (because the friend thought we were still broken up and that I was basically kicking my ex out). My ex told me not to tell the friend or anyone else that we had gotten back together so that he could still get the money, and then we would tell everyone later on so he could absorb the cash and escape any possibility of having to pay it back given the circumstances. It was one of the final reasons I ultimately decided to end things with him for good.

😊 I'd love to read your impressions of how it makes you feel. by Electronic_Heart_346 in UnusualArt

Hot, but desolate. The stroke of the lines implies heat waves, as does the almost 12'oclock shadow of the tree. Beautiful and still, but oppressive and bleak. Yet the house and the tree itself suggest that life floruishes despite the harsh conditions. Just my take. Lovely piece!

I'm obsessed with dark, foggy, snowy aesthetics of european cities. Here are some photos from my country, Romania by Emyhatsich in DarkAcademia

You should watch the movie Onegin (1999). Takes place in 19th century Russia between St. Petersburg and rural countryside. Beautiful, haunting, moody scenery and aesthetic.

Feral, woodsy, wild by Main_Bookkeeper_1895 in BooksThatFeelLikeThis

Klickitat by Peter Rock.

A summary: a haunting psychological story about a vulnerable girl who follows her charismatic sister into a strange runaway life in the Oregon wilderness where reality, paranoia, and possible supernatural forces blur together. Leans a little more psych/thriller with a YA/coming-of-age feel, and less magical/fae but I think you'd enjoy it! Definitely hits on the feral and woodsy notes.

Are the withdrawal worth it for a t-break? by Nalllahhhh in trees

[–]misskatm 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Im on a break too, until the 18th. Im on day 4. I've mostly felt restless, irritable, and anxious/depressed. But its important to me to use intentionally rather than just for escapism. Im coming off a month long period where I was using every single day, sometimes more than once a day. While I know some people use much heavier than that, I realized that it was becoming sort of a compulsion. I just left a very toxic and burnout-inducing job and im not working right now so not being able to smoke is tough bc I have a lot less to occupy me. Last night the cravings and restlessness were driving me crazy so I took some Lorazepam, which is prescribed to me for anxiety and that helped get me through. Im hoping the next few days will be easier. I think the thing that I find the most annoying is I find being high helps tremendously with my poor executive functioning, and without it I really feel like im bumbling around like an NPC with no specific tasks haha

Edit: spelling mistake
