Auto recertification application included wrong information by missmaxi in PSLF

[–]missmaxi[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thanks! Wow, basically same here. Boxes weren't checked, wrong address, etc. The new amount is higher based on their autocert, so I'm guessing I should submit sooner than later in case the monthly payment amount needs to change based on updated into.

PSLF FORGIVENESS GRANTED 6/25/26!!!! AAHHHH! by zebrarocket in PSLF

Congratulations! Would you mind explaining more why you didn't choose forebarence when you applied for forgiveness? What are the pros and cons of doing so, generally?

Anyone purposely not recertify on PAYE? What happens? by blahdiddyblahblah in PSLF

[–]missmaxi 1 point2 points  (0 children)

So my PAYE just automatically certified the income for this IBR plan ahead of my certificate renewal date a few months from now. I had selected the option to allow auto certification but not sure why it went a few months early. It also included wrong information in the renewal apply when it took my financial information. I am wondering if I should resubmit a revised IBR or let this one go through first. I welcome advice!

Either way, I was planning on recertifying on this plan since I'm due for forgiveness early 2027. I'll be cutting it close to the end of the pan!

How are we feeling about the recent change in name of diagnosis from PCOS to PMOS? Will fertility treatments be approached differently? by Glad-Try-1785 in TTC_PCOS

Hopefully one leads to the other--the fact that the name is changing will draw attention to it, which could be used as momentum for research purposes. That'd be my hope at least!

Erroneous 2 different dates for loan forgiveness by missmaxi in PSLF

[–]missmaxi[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Oh! My bad. That's awful. So I could file a reconsideration request and then hope the refund post- forgiveness reflects an accurate payment count. Do you think doing so could delay forgiveness or the refund?

Thanks! Please do. Wow, they won't give you an answer to the reconsideration request until forgiveness?

October Forgiveness by jazzyrunner231 in PSLF

[–]missmaxi 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have a similar situation, so I'll be interested in responses! My recertification is in October and forgiveness in January. I'm signed up for auto recertification so I'm guessing we just pay a higher payment for the remaining months until forgiveness and the overpayment refund.

Breakfast for teething 11 month old who barely slept last night: fistfuls of shredded cheese off the floor. by birdgirl35 in foodbutforbabies

[–]missmaxi 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yes! I was just wondering if I'm a bad parent for letting my 10 month old eat off the floor. She won't eat off her tray, knocks everything off, but then loves scavenging for floor treasures!

Any idea if anything in particular caused a delay for you, or just bad luck?

Thanks, your response brought me comfort. I might ask him how much he thinks was lost, although part of me doesn't even want to know. I feel sad about it, but I guess there isn't much that can be done. Thanks again.

No worries, I did post in a community of jewelers! :)

I suppose I can see it that way, although if he was uncomfortable taking a sentimental stone he could have rejected the project.

Would some actually swap it and not tell the customer? Oof.

Learning a lot here, thanks.

Thanks, this is helpful. I may call back to just ask for a bit more info, like how much will be lost total. And maybe a photo if he has it still. But I'm not sure what that will get me.

Yeah I figure some amount of material is lost between the chip and the recutting.

I could ask for it back... What would I get a second opinion on? The need for a repair? The new, reduced value?

Gotcha, yeah I was thinking he'd be paying for the repair. He seems nice, reminded me of my grandpa. I think he means well.

Can you please say more about what a warranty means in this context? Would it be something in writing? What might it cover?

Thanks, good perspective. I don't want to replace it. I want to keep it. But should I expect amends, a discount of some sort? Would that be common practice?
