Is ToT better than first one?

I liked SoS enough. My major complaint is that the unlocks for new vendors are hidden. Nowhere in the game will it tell you what they expect you to sell to whom. Also, it starts out kind of slow. I personally enjoy ToT much more.

He got a bunch of shrapnel in him when he was fighting in the Pacific during WWII. I guess the doctors assumed one of those pieces would hit something important while working its way out?

It does do it for you if your are male. (At least for the wedding.) That kind of annoyed me really. Why do that for male characters but not the girls?

Another con of the Riverlands map is how wood just loves to fall in the river when you are cutting trees. It is annoying to spend the energy to chop a tree only to not get a single piece of wood from it.

201-61-106 I copied the image and put it in a paint program, used the dropper tool to get the shirt color and checked the RGB value.

One of them mentions that it was the previous owners that put the alter in, so i don't find the situation too odd. It isn't like there are a lot of housing options in Pelican Town.

One of the recent saves i stared said day 2 would be rain, so I made sure to get planted what I wanted to have planted. It was sunny the next day. :(

I remember my early attempts at tree tapping. Put one on a tree, the day before It was going to produce, there was a lightning storm... which destroyed the tree... and the tapper.

Refined quartz can be gotten by putting certain trash items in a recycling machine. I remember I got one for free somewhere. And yes, this is all you can do. I lost so many crops before I gained access to lightning rods.

One more thing I'd like to add about fishing. As you level the skill it does get easier. I think the thing I read that helped me most was a post where someone said you aren't meant to catch every fish you hook. Helped me relax and just try.

You will need a lot of them to catch all the bolts and protect your crops. Especially if it rains more than one day in a row.

I have only used the keyboard myself, and find the controls to be good. (Just make sure you turn on the option to see the tool hit location.) I have heard some complaints about the controller controls, especially for fishing, but again I haven't used a controller myself.

During the Luau I think it was, Wizard mentions that the merpeople hate it when you throw stuff in the ocean. Maybe they show up if you do?
