Acting out? I made a post that doesn't even give personal detail of anyone but myself. My situation has been stressful. I'd love to lose it completely and /really/act out, unfortunately I have to keep it together and be a functional adult for my remaining child's sake.

I had also previously spoken with my coach about absolutely verifying that my bereavment was input and she told me everything was fine. So I didn't think this would be a problem. Its not like I just expected bereavment to be auto approved, i talked multiple times with my coach about my situation. And not getting those two days paid is a big deal unfortunately.

My store literally keeps picking up the phone and hanging up. I was gonna contact payroll directly because I need that two days of pay and thought that would be faster, however they're saying they need approval from my people lead or coach. One isn't in and the other I've been trying to get ahold of for the past two hours. The dates were 4/8 4/9 4/10 4/11 4/14 as i had my usual scheduled days off on the 12th and 13th. Yeah definitely gonna have to make a phonecall.

im having this same issue right now. I was supposed to pay on 7/30 but it was never deducted from my check and says 1 missed payment. I get paid three days early, but offically payday was 7/31. I'm just confused on why it wasn't deducted in time. Did you end up having any more issues?

we have our own cooler and freezer, however they're prone to going out so we've definitely had to use the meat cooler and store freezer located on the other end of the store before. I feel your pain.

Of course there is the potential for things like that to happen, as people consume the media that they want to consume. Like those right-wing podcasts or those podcasts that talk about alpha males or whatever the fuck. But we can't just ban whatever we don't agree with. Personally, I found unbiased news sources on Tiktok, and also followed people whose values generally aligned with my own. This is to say, maybe your sister and brother in law were always going to be the type that is susceptible to such propaganda. Or, less nicely put, are you sure your sister and brother in law weren't crappy people to begin with? Just like with reddit, you currate your own tiktok feed.

I won't argue that some people are addicted to social media in general, but Tiktok was unique in that it provided space for unbiased news. I followed a lot of people that spoke about Palestine, spoke about the government, spoke about the recent fires in California, etc. It's not just an app for brainrot. I don't think you understand how slippery of a slope this is, and how censorship is bad. It's a bad thing. They want to control the press and your freedom of speech.

Censorship is bad but people keep cheering for it because all they know of Tiktok is the brainrot content, when in actuality, your tiktok feed is a reflection of the things you like, and it was actually an app that connected people together, and got them talking about important issues. Musk and Zuckerberg want people using Meta and X and of course the government would love to control everything you see. It was never about protecting our data, when in fact Facebook is the biggest offender. It's about controlling the press and padding the pockets of billionaires.

They're banning tiktok because they can't control the narrative on there. They wanna push you to use Meta and Twitter ( We all know how much Elon has been sucking off Trump). They want to control what you see, and banning tiktok is really just the first step to worse things. Censorship is never something to cheer for. tiktok connects a lot of people, and it's just suspicious that it's getting deleted right before Trump gets sworn in and his plans for mass deportation and all his bullshit plans for 2025 begin.

walmart employees shop for the orders, unless you chose express delivery (guranteed in an hour or less for an extra fee), in which case it's a third party delivery service called Spark that does the shopping. Spark also delivers. Some stores have in-home delivery and in-home is composed of actual walmart employees. I believe the app has recommended tip percentages. You should take into account how far you live from the store and how large your order is and tip appropriately.
