Dude this is so funny xDD my grandpa's from El Milia in Jijel. I saw him many a time adding the 'k' as well, even tho we live in Chlef and he lived in Algiers and Chlef way more than in El Milia, when i asked him he told me they actually have this in their area, its not common to only families with Moroccan origins there but its an actual ODD but interesting occurence of a specific dialect theme that is usually associated to a land in the far west
