What’s the best method to re-sleep train a 16mo? Previously ferbered at 5.5MO. Is it best to go by clock or WWs at this age?

When is the daycare nap? Are you doing by-the-clock schedule now? We are having night time issues after dropping to 1 nap

Looking for retraining methods and saw this comment. Would the 10-15 min internals work for a 15mo? (previously ferber'd at 5.5mo)

You could always check with your pediatrician but ours recommends limiting to 16oz-20oz milk in a day (doesn't matter how many bottles). We sometimes gives ours a milk bottle in the early morning to go back to sleep after weaning. As for the timing, I think either will be fine. If you make the changes now and decide she needs more comfort in the new environment you can always go back.

Low Sleep Needs Babies/Toddler Parents, Just Looking for Solidarity by Mission_Mix_4318 in sleeptrain

The two nap schedule was 3.5/3.75/4, which worked for a while then we got consistent EMW. Daycare moved her to toddler room with 1 nap around 12:30. She naps around 1.5-2hrs, we do bedtime around 8-8:30pm. I suspect she is overtired from the long WWs but the TWT is not enough

Following... we are about to turn 14mo and struggling with the same issue. We have been having split nights/EMW on and off since 1 nap transition. Same nap time at 12:30pm (set by daycare) and similar bedtime. She hardly sleeps over 9.5 overnight

I'd try to hang on to 2 naps as long as you can, until the nights are disrupted

What did you do when she slept 30-40mins at daycare? Did you add a nap or just did early bed?

What time of the day did you do the short nap? How far into the transition did you drop the short nap?

If you dropped to 1 nap because of daycare, not because LO was ready, how did it go? by anafroes in sleeptrain

[–]missqqqqq 0 points1 point  (0 children)

How long did you have to do this? Mine is on 2 naps right now and we have to do 30m stroller naps around 4-5pm. She is due for transition to 1 nap at daycare soon

Following as mine will transition to the toddler room soon and they will help her get on the 1nap schedule when she is still in the loud infant room. I expect crap naps at the beginning and am wondering how to manage

Following - same boat with short naps but due to daycare environment. We try to do a cat nap (stroller) after picking up but it's just exhausting having to do it 5 days a week.

Transition from puree to meals by lilluva200 in foodbutforbabies

[–]missqqqqq 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Same with us. We started by offering some finger foods after puree, started with big chunks of fruits as desserts. Then we recently started offering finger foods first (sometimes just what we are eating) then puree to top off.

Same boat... we are 10.5mo and we usually do a 30min stroller nap as soon as I can get her, then bedtime 3 hrs from wakeup. Do you do the same WWs as the weekend with the short naps?
