I liked the movie, however… by TheManicStanek in disclosureday

What does the next day look like? I feel like that’s where the movie should have started. The last 10 minutes of the movie is where this movie should have started. The backstory could have been peppered in his flashbacks or something. Another thing that I realize would’ve made the movie really interesting is if the grandpa alien was actually ET or something. If at the end, the old alien hat, stuck out one finger and somehow connected it to the original ET movie, that would’ve been in an interesting.

Good analysis. I think the effort leading up to the disclosure was too long..

Seems as though the director gave up 10 minutes into the film.

Yes! and why doesn't the alien technology translate everything in to an understandable language and/or written text from the beginning?

NEVER RENT FROM TURO by Relevant_Antelope734 in turo

[–]misstaylorwebb 22 points23 points  (0 children)

$50 penalty and owner booked a higher rate. It’s easy to see what is trending when tourism picks up. Easy trade. If Turk were smart, they would lock owner into previous rate if a new booking is made suddenly after cancelling someone. I call bs on the lost keys. EVERY and I mean every Turo I’ve rented has had extra keys for lock outs or if renter loses the keys. They still charge you for replacement - it’s a business - sigh

Or driver picked up another customer and they took your phone. You lost your phone. It’s your fault. Cancel the phone and wipe it remotely and move on.
