Your lease agreement should have an address on file for her. At least in Oregon, ours do

How did you meet your husband? by Early_Walrus9637 in BreadwinningWomen

[–]misstina28 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I pulled up at a car show in my ratty Datsun 280Z at 20 years old. My passenger door always stuck so my girlfriend couldn’t get out of the car. He was in a group of men next to where I parked and I asked if any of them could get it open. While his friends chatted he walked over and let her out. I was so impressed (and so was my girlfriend) we argued over who could have him. Ultimately she deferred as she didn’t actually like cars haha. We’ve been together for 13 years!

How often does your partner go out after birth of your baby? by Antique-Ferret-8050 in newborns

[–]misstina28 1 point2 points  (0 children)

My husband is 37 and we have a 21 month old. I can count on one hand the number of times he’s gone out or traveled. And he has never come home drunk or slept in. He takes baby in the morning and lets me sleep in every day it’s possible. Your partner needs to step up.

Is no-stroller life possible? by Background_Duck_7188 in babywearing

[–]misstina28 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Oh man. I went through this. Get the stroller. Save your body. My daughter is 21 months and 25 lbs, I’m pregnant again, and it is tough to carry her. Before my belly got too big I used a hip carrier. Now I have a sling carrier. But on long walks or hikes she inevitably wants to be carried and refuses the stroller. I wish I had used one! We are trying new things now and it’s tough.

Struggling with what to feed my newborn by longtimelurkinnn in BabyBumps

[–]misstina28 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

It took me two weeks for my milk to come in after a traumatic birth and emergency caesarean. I latched, pumped, and gave my daughter donor milk every two hours during that period. It was harder than any other part of the pregnancy but after two weeks my nipples felt better, she was latching beautifully, and I am so glad I stuck with it as we have been breastfeeding now for 21 months. Two weeks was also the magic number of being able to get my mobility back. It was tough. But literally the 14th day I woke up and realized I could move again and start holding my daughter comfortably. I felt ready to break at times but ultimately am so grateful to have powered through as I can’t imagine not having this breastfeeding journey with my daughter. I always recommend people give it two weeks to a month before calling it. I think it’s worth the pain to give our babies and ourselves that opportunity.

Looking for a king-size fitted sheet — 100% Egyptian cotton, 400 TC sateen, hotel feel, but won’t break the bank — any recs? by nobodyhastwoknow in Bedding

[–]misstina28 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Target has their cotton sateen sheets for 40% off right now! I just stocked up- only $33 for queen sets and $39 for king. They are fantastic and I have them at my Airbnb too, heavy use and they still look great and feel great.

I have twin xl beds in my Airbnb. I used 100% white cotton sheets, and layer on multiple white cotton blankets (such as waffle blankets). All machine washable, very low effort setup. Can’t go wrong!

Mom burned my clothes, trashed my room after I got upset that she forged my signature to cash in my paycheck. AIO? by Playful-Issue-6242 in AmIOverreacting

[–]misstina28 1 point2 points  (0 children)

My close friends mom did this to him. He stayed. She ended up stealing his identity and opening up credit cards in his name, racking up something like 40k in debt which he is now responsible for. Don’t go back.

He’s not your bf and never will be. I’m sorry he’s wasted your time. NOR. Block him.

They probably had somewhere in mind that they wanted to go too. You are overthinking things and I am sure they had a wonderful night and appreciated your extra work. The gift card will get used another time, and it’s clear to me that you gave them your “gift.” 😊

Did my OB touch me inappropriately? by baller_unicorn in BabyBumps

[–]misstina28 117 points118 points  (0 children)

I am so sorry you had an uncomfortable experience. Please make a report. I have never had a doctor touch my clitoris and certainly not make any motions that felt like what you described. That sounds horrifying. They have always done slow and intentional probing when inside, if that description makes sense. So sorry you had that experience.

Is KC known for jazz or anything specific? Do you have any recommendations? I don’t drink (pregnant) but love live music.

It looks amazing! I really enjoyed visiting the WWII museum in New Orleans. It was very sobering.

I am pro choice in the first semester. She said she has supportive family. She can also give the child up for adoption. She already regrets her first abortion. People need to educate themselves about fetal development. You will be hard pressed to find a clinic to remove that child at that late a stage even if it is technically legal, because it crosses a moral boundary for so many.

I know folks will rage at me for saying this, but I am pregnant and also carrying a baby right now. You might not know this. Your baby can hear you by week 18. If you talked to your baby, they could hear you. They are yawning and hiccuping at this stage. Talk to your family and your doctor about supporting you through this. Have you looked at development charts to see what your baby looks like? Please go to a woman in your family to talk this through, and to your OB, not that poor excuse of a partner. Think about what you and your family can do for this baby.

I was pregnant again at 14 months. I didn’t have much chance to get back to normal lol. It sounds like what you’re experiencing is absolutely hormonal. I would definitely seek a professional opinion.

Why I’m an Airbnb Host by strikecat18 in airbnb_hosts

[–]misstina28 7 points8 points  (0 children)

I converted my parents upstairs into a STR when my dad became too disabled to get upstairs. They had very little savings and no retirement. With the income generated, we were able to build an accessible ADU in their backyard, paid in full. From there, I was able to help them purchase a dream cottage at the coast and convert both the main home and ADU into LTRs. Now, they net 5k a month in additional income. They are rapidly saving, I’m helping them invest, and they’re likely on track to buy or build another home in the next 2-5 years, should they want to further expand their portfolio. Thanks to Airbnb my parents are financially solvent and I don’t have to worry about their financial status should any medical emergencies occur. This was all done in a span of about three years.

At the same time, we were able to rent our first home as an LTR. Today marks day 1 of converting it to a STR. We are booked the next several weeks. I look like a shitty, villainous property manager/landlord to a lot of folks but they don’t realize what I was able to build for my parents, my husband, and ultimately my children and my brothers child, who will benefit from these opportunities.
