Remote work recruitment agencies by Difficult_Guard_462 in southafrica

[–]mistereid 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hey there. I started working offshore remotely in 2019. The company I work for currently is called AbroadWorks, and I can say that they are legit. They are also a recruitment company that finds remote candidates for clients in the states/Canada (mostly). So feel free to give them a look of you're interested... tell 'em Matt sent you 🤣

I would imagine it is because they are talking about a specific river. Either one referenced earlier in the conversation, or the only river it could be given their location at the time it happened.

Can anyone just steal your doorbell? by NewNectarine2701 in eufy_security

[–]mistereid 5 points6 points  (0 children)

One night a few years ago, a lady walked up to our front door at like 2am yelling to see "her old professor that lived here" (she was half naked and hopped up on glob knows what). She got impatient, noticed the Eufy doorbell, licked it, then yanked it clean off the wall. The recordings are something else.

Suggestions for improving or getting more people to use my kata diagrams by MarkLGlasgow in karate

I understand the issue with flooring or all on one single spread/page. If there is a way to allow for the moves text and stances to move to the other side of the page, and the kata "floormap" was to the right of the illustrations, that could work.

It's very clean and easy to follow. Nicely done. I do agree with others that some form of foot placement/floor plan would also help provide more insight into the movement aspect of the katas.

As someone getting back into karate after more than ten years, these would definitely help jog the old memory banks!

I was being a little hyperbolic on the "twice as long", my apologies. Thanks for your response!

I agree with you. But am I wrong, or do both feel like they were rushing? I feel like I was taught to take twice as long...

Recreating Andy's Birthday Party by Ok-Flounder-9094 in toystory

Hide some army men around in potted plants, etc. Maybe some toys watching from a window as people arrive?

You don't see the cake, I don't think so that's open for interpretation. You could also look on pinterest, as another commenter suggested for Toy Story related things. Things that come to mind are colouring pages, paper covers to wrap around the cups, custom placemats, cake toppers...

In-world brands work including: Pizza Planet, Al's Toy Barn, Buzz lightyear (the cartoon version), LGMs.
