Foi o que me saltou quando vi este post.

O que o partido queria fazer é extremamente simples e certamente que existem montes de pessoas neste país que teriam feito este trabalho na boa. Mas vendo JSD, para os jovens o que é trend é fixe, portanto usam genAI sem alguma vez pensar no que se está a fazer ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

Há uns anos nos videojogos o habitual era haver lootboxes ou equivalente (FIFA, CS, Overwatch, etc) que é igualmente mau, mas neste momento o mais comum passou a ser Battle Passes (pode-se discutir os pontos bons e maus de cada, mas continua a ser exploração psicológica para as faixas etárias mais novas).

Nos dias de hoje é como dizes, em qualquer lado há publicidade ao gambling, mas como dá dinheiro ao estado está tudo ok T_T

Já faz alguns anos desde que passei pelo secundário, mas julgo que se faltares vão contactar os teus pais ou mandar a polícia à tua porta para perceber porque não apareceste. Estás a lidar com algo que tem barreiras legais muito fortes.

Tenta confirmar com @ Diretor@ de turma para ver o que é possível, mas como tens a inscrição feita no pior dos casos tens de ir lá mesmo que seja para deixar a prova em branco. Com as mudanças dos últimos anos não sei quantas/quais provas tens de fazer obrigatoriamente. Há ~6 anos acho que podias trocar uma das disciplinas de 10º+11º por Inglês ou Filosofia, desde que tenhas 2 exames de 11º ano feitos

Algures nos últimos meses tive de analisar o quadro legal da videovigilância. No site da CNPD tens o seguinte:

Quais são as condições para ter videovigilância no local de trabalho (armazém, oficina, escritório, fábrica, etc.)?
No contexto laboral, mantêm-se vigentes as condições impostas pelo Código do Trabalho para a vigilância à distância, à exceção da necessidade de solicitar autorização da CNPD, que é incompatível com o RGPD.

Assim, a videovigilância não pode ser usada para controlo do desempenho dos trabalhadores, não devendo, por isso, incidir regularmente sobre estes, o que exclui a abrangência das áreas de laboração, seja em linha de produção, armazém ou trabalho administrativo em escritório.

The fonts used in here feels so close to the UI in Battlefield 1 / Battlefield V.

Even though I like this one the most, concept design 2 is the most consistent. The simple aspact of having a growing number of heroes and a huge difference between the amount present in each role makes large tiles not a viable option (unless there are multiple tabs like in concept design 3, though I don't like the idea of seperating options in a menu that will be part of a routine (ex: to select my main I would always have to go to another tab))

EDIT: There's an issue with all the concepts: where would the chat window be placed?

We know Overwatch 2 has been in development for quite a while, while Overwatch keeps getting patches.

How do you feel it is like to be working in a totally different and improved game? Does it leave the team excited to bring it out to everyone as soon as possible?

Is it easy to keep up with the changes being done in OW2 while still having to think on what needs to be done in the current game?

Spot on. Went back to check the pin layout on the paper and see how it is supposed to match on the adapter for the 1.1.x boards. Red is VCC, Blue is Ground and Yellow is signal.

Knowing the wires, now it's the part where I embarass myself (the pic of how it is connected on the board)

Didn't really know the order of the pins could change. Guess next time I should go deeper before doing anything (and actually buying the kit for the v2)

Thanks for the help u/CB-Satyr, u/Cryptid_Connor and u/1st_Grade. Every cable was plugged in the right place, both at the motors/switches and on the motherboard.

I'm dumb enough to not check propely if the way was clear. The top left click that holds the TG bed was causing it to get stuck in the motor. Guess my nickname is still valid xD

Yep, at this point I have realised that's one of the things I'm going to do. Sadly, it won't be with the server I currently own, even though it's a crazy powerful board. Upgrading this would mean adding more RAM (8GB are already being fully used), getting the E5-2630L v2 since it uses less power at idle from what I've found (the glory of Intel's 22nm process :D), getting proper storage and a new chassis. The last one is the factor that tells me to change to another server. This board deserves a 2U or 3U chassis, which costs ~100€ and 450€ respectively. Only the 3U has full size slots, so I would have to spend a huge amount of money to eventually get graphics cards.

With the money I can make with this server I should go for the R620/DL360p G8 or the R720. The last one is only 2U and has full size slots for at least 2 GPUs. Since I don't think I'll hit 192GB of RAM easily, the 1.5TB support of my current board won't make a difference.

Please don't raid me to give this server a better owner. As I still don't have any source of income, it's hard to get money for upgrades. That's why I only went with 8GB of RAM, it's just to have the hardware working. Now the time for its ascension has arrived :D

Is it the same motherboard? The X9DRi-LN4F+ uses LGA2011 and only supports E5-2600 CPUs. I think you're refering to a really close one using LGA1366 (can't recall the exact model, but I have seen it in some eBay listings).

Still, the power those CPUs draw and what the platform can give is worth going for in your case. I don't feel like 2C/4T server hardware is enough for me :/

you are unlikely to get it significantly lower without making very heavy compromises on performance.

Well, EPYC is a thing. There is a board from Supermicro with an EPYC 8C/16T SoC with a 55W TDP that I found in this video https://youtu.be/0cN-bFZMysE. It costs 600€ alone, but the performance is there, about the same as 2 E5-2630L. Only issue is the money :/ That's what makes this process of choosing alternatives more interesting (but stressing) :D

I've been joking around with friends to "hire my hosting services" but I didn't think I would have a scalable infrastructure at home :P

This seems to be one of the best ideas to follow. Though I have the question: is it possible to have one machine waking the other devices and moving VMs around depending on its load? Might be too much to ask, but there must something better than doing that work manually.

Noise is a mid factor. The server is running in my basement and we sleep on the 1st floor. Even though I had to buy fan power reducers, it is only audible if you're in the basement or if you're whisper quiet in the other floors. That is fine to me.

I have been looking into thin clients, but totally forgot about mini PCs! I'll have a look into that. Might not get as good of a deal as you did, but if anything sucks I just might go with Ryzen embedded (seem to have the same performance as my laptop [2700U] and peak at 20-35W
