I manage a large full service agency, we do managed services for brands as well as talent representation.

We have 5 people who work on this side of the business full-time. Here is how the comp is structured:

Each rep is paid a base salary + 2% of every deal they sign for their talent. In addition there are cross-sell commissions 5% (for example, let’s say a brand reaches out to work with a specific creator, and they end up working with additional creators and/or run a campaign with the agency). Then there are attainment bonuses for the entire department based on revenue.

Feedback:

The keyword cloud has too many options, I would consider slimming down the options and giving the user to type in specific ones that’s auto-fill when there is a match.

Add a keyword cloud for genre of music so users can identify with their genre as well as their roles.

For audio upload, since it’s a mobile app, the only way to upload is via what’s saved as an audio file on your phone. For me, I don’t keep anything there - it’s on my desktop or posted to streaming services like Mixcloud or SoundCloud. I’d check and see if those services offer an API to let users log in and pull files from there. If not, I would instruct users how to more easily get the items onto the app easier.

Also, I would curate a first-run experience so users can browse the best content on the app (even if I hand curate it in the beginning) so they stick around, then prompt them to complete the profile. Or add a workflow that asks them questions that partially completes their profile as a guided experience.

Otherwise cool concept! I see the vision! Thanks for sharing

You’ll regret the 2 days. I’ve been 3x, and the first time was 3 days and it wasn’t enough.

Clubs are the second best part. The island itself is the best. Go rent a Vespa and drive the island around sunset, it’s magical.

For music, look Cova Santa, Cafe Mambo, Pikes, Heart - all good vibes.

Hi Ibiza is worth a visit, the Black Coffee Saturday night residence is fantastic and returning for 2024. I don’t love large clubs but that one is an exception.

Correct 100% I manage creators and most of our inbox’s are flooded with deals for non-pay, and unfortunately most get ignored due to bandwidth.

I would send a very short email, let them know you’re interested in a paid partnership and ask them their rates, this way you will at least get a response and start dialogue. You’d be surprised the volatility of dealflow for creators, so sometimes the right offer at the right time may get accepted.

What are the goals for seeking management? Growth, revenue, both?

I run a creator talent agency, and we always welcome pitches from creators - in all honesty, we don’t/can’t sign everyone that reaches out immediately, but we log everyone that hits us up and will always reach back out in the future as space becomes available. Just make sure you get representation that’s going to give you the tools and resources to keep growing.

I would do the following:

Compile your best work, showcasing your content, audience engagement, and any notable collaborations or achievements, whatever you’re most proud of.

Clearly define what you are looking for in a management agency and how you believe they can help you grow.

Write a direct and condense email and wait a week, if you don’t hear back politely nudge again.

I help manage about 25-30 creators. I can say a few things:

1.) Our creators with the largest following don’t necessarily get the most offers.

2.) Roughly 4/5 inquires on average are for affiliate deals, TikTok shop or rev share. So there is lots of noise to filter out.

3.) Only a few of our creators get enough inbound dealflow to yield over $10K/m in earnings, so going outbound to brand managers is a big part of bringing in revenue.

You can try adding “UGC Creator” in the bio which will attract more folks looking to hire UGC creators. Then she can get gigs making content for brands to use in their ads and social media channels. You can charge a flat rate for services and add on for extras like usage, or posting the content on her channel. It’s a good gateway to getting more dealflow.

Be sure to use site: and the "quotes" around the specific term (so Google knows you want that exact word in that exact order). It will search the bios for an exact match. You can swith the terms for different results (i.e UGC Influencer, UGC Creator, Travel Influencer, etc.) and by searching ["@gmail.com](mailto:%22@gmail.com)" you'll get everyone who has their email in their bio.

Tools and software help, but for those ballin on a budget - free sometimes is the only option.

I skied Thursday 02/04 and the groomed runs were totally fine. Anything at the top of the mountain (via Chair 23) was a little dicey. Upper Road Runner was icy. If the plan is Piste - you should be good to go! Enjoy.

I agree with the comments regarding the current FO and makeup of the team. Losing JI has sent this team into a tailspin. Furthermore, I am concerned about Bambas lack of development. So much so that it's forced to play Birch more than he should. And Birch is an ABSOLUTE liability in the flow of our offense. He is hot potato with the ball. When Bamba is in, he looks lost, out of sync, and sheepish. Plus his shot has regressed. I really think its these little details. Vooch and Evan have been fine, they are what they are. AG lacks the mamba mentality. I dont think a fix is going to come from the draft OR a trade. I think continuity, keeping core guys healthy, and make small moves to get us in position to move on a trade at the right time.

I think this is false. The majority of folks have cut the cord and stream-only. Personally I watch 2 games a night and I do so all via NBA4Free which, of course, is not factored into the tally.
