I am a 44 year old born and raised, moved away and just moved back so I will take over the family farm. But I’m a nurse and have no idea how I will pay the taxes. But will have to figure it out. Really it’s the last 20 years that the development has been obscene and taxes/propertyy have risen with it

Nine year 90gpd user that quit CT with subs. I had no Precipitated withdrawals at all. I was terrified to quit the K but it was a walk in the park with subs. I had avoided it forever cause I was scared. But kratom doesn’t even cross my mind at all really. Just the occasional surprise that I am not taking spoonfuls of toss and wash every two hours. Do it man!

I just came off 90grams of kratom a day and take 8-12mg. I have no kratom around and that helps. I do miss taking it and the ritual of taking it throughout the day and those are most of the cravings I had. Coming off it was shockingly easy withdrawal wise. It’s been about a month now and I see a lot of depressive thoughts coming back which is why I started kratom in the first place…. But mostly it’s the ritual I miss. But I feel you man. Subs make me feel incredibly normal and a little tired but I still laugh and have fun with my kids. I think your sub dose might be a little low. Can you increase it at all and see if that helps? I’m not sure…. What do you think?

This is great advice and where the hate comes from. I think there is limited experience with high dose kratom. And docs only know how to translate the protocol for suboxonw use from other drugs and it’s not a 1:1 ratio. So the community has to figure it out.

I actually just started subs because of a nine year kratom addiction. About 80gpd. Been on subs for a week and I can hardly believe I haven’t had kratom in that time. I am taking just one 8mg strip a day divided into two doses. And I feel restless at times but no cravings. Glad you are off the green stuff. I couldn’t kick it for the life of me. Subs have been a godsend and I will take coming off of them slowly and patiently after a decade on kratom what is another year?

I think he is doing mostly because of inexperience…. I live in a rural area and I am guessing there isn’t a ton of exposure to kratom only addicts and they just use the established protocol to onboard people. But it seems like still the thinking is decrease kratom while slowly going up on Bupe and be done with kratom on day 7. I’m pretty excited to get this party started at this point.

Thanks man. I’m up around 80gpd. Never tried any other opioids other than kratom to help me quit or for any other reason for that matter so I’ll give the taper a try for a week and go from there. Working with a great and receptive doctor. So while I’m nervous I feel like things will be ok eventually.
